Abstract: This application configures a quantity and size of subbands in a channel state information (CSI) reporting band for flexibility and reduced complexity of terminal addressing by determining a channel state information subband size based on a bandwidth part (BWP), determining a quantity of channel state information subbands included in a channel state information reporting band based on (i) a carrier bandwidth (CC bandwidth), (ii) the BWP bandwidth or (iii) a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) bandwidth and the channel state information subband size. The method further includes determining an actual quantity of resource blocks included in a starting subband and an actual quantity of resource blocks in an ending subband in the channel state information subband.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a reference signal pattern transmission method and an apparatus therefor. The method includes: determining, a quantity N of symbols occupied by a CSI-RS resource, and N={1, 2, 4}; obtaining, a pattern of the CSI-RS resource; and sending, configuration information to a terminal device, N=1, the pattern of the CSI-RS resource occupies one RE in time domain, and occupies at least four consecutive REs in frequency domain; or N=2, the pattern of the CSI-RS resource occupies two consecutive REs in time domain, and occupies at least two consecutive REs in frequency domain; or N=4, the pattern of the CSI-RS resource occupies four consecutive REs in time domain, and occupies at least two consecutive REs in frequency domain. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, a design of a pattern of a channel state information-reference signal resource in a 5G system can be implemented.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a reference signal sending/receiving method, a terminal device, and a network device. The terminal device determines transmit power of a reference signal of the terminal device, where the transmit power is related to a quantity of unavailable time-frequency resources in a transmission unit in which the reference signal is located; and transmits the reference signal based on the transmit power. After receiving the reference signal from the terminal device, the network device parses the reference signal based on the transmit power. The terminal device relates the transmit power of the reference signal of the terminal device to the quantity of unavailable time-frequency resources in the transmission unit in which the reference signal is located, thereby improving the transmit power of the reference signal of the terminal device in uplink MU-MIMO, and improving communication performance of the terminal device with a low signal-to-noise ratio.

Abstract: This application provides a data sending method, a data receiving method, a data sending apparatus, and a data receiving apparatus. The method includes: precoding, by a transmit end device, a plurality of spatial flows, to obtain a plurality of precoded data streams, and transmitting the plurality of precoded data streams, where at least two spatial flows in the plurality of spatial flows are obtained by performing transmit diversity processing on one original spatial flow. In this way, some spatial flows in a plurality of spatial flows on a same time-frequency resource can be transmitted in a transmit-diversity-based beamforming transmission manner, and other spatial flows can be transmitted in a spatial multiplexing manner, thereby improving time-frequency resource utilization.
