    Abstract: A task scheduling method and system, and a hardware task scheduler are disclosed, and pertain to the field of computer technologies. The hardware task scheduler provides task scheduling for a central processing unit CPU core to select a candidate task. After selecting the candidate task, the CPU core actively sends metadata of the candidate task to a first storage area, and actively sends a context of the candidate task to a cache, where the first storage area is located in storage space whose access speed is higher than that of a memory. When performing task switching, the CPU core reads the metadata of the candidate task from the first storage area, and reads the context of the candidate task from the cache. In this way, latency of obtaining the metadata and the context of the candidate task by the CPU core is reduced, and low-latency task switching is implemented.

    Abstract: A handover method and a communication apparatus are provided. The method includes: After sending a handover command to a terminal device, a source network device sends, to a target network device, at least one data packet that is not successfully received by the terminal device, so that after the terminal device accesses the target network device, the target network device sends, to the terminal device, the at least one data packet received from the source network device. Because the data packet forwarded by the source network device to the target network device includes a data packet on which the source network device has performed PDCP processing and for which no acknowledgment response from the terminal device is preceived, a data loss of the terminal device in an inter-system handover process can be effectively avoided.

    Abstract: This application provides a wireless connection control method relating to a base station system including a centralized unit and a distributed unit, wherein the centralized unit communicates with the distributed unit, and the distributed unit communicates with a terminal through an air interface. The method includes: first receiving, by the distributed unit, a first message sent by the terminal, where the first message is used to request to establish an air interface control plane connection for the terminal; then sending, by the distributed unit, the first message to the centralized unit; and then receiving, by the distributed unit, a second message sent by the centralized unit, where the second message is used to instruct to establish the air interface control plane connection between the terminal and the distributed unit.
