An example method includes: receiving a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) sent by a device, where a bandwidth of the PPDU includes a plurality of 20 megahertz (MHz) subchannels; and performing overlapping basic service set packet detection (OBSS PD)-based spatial reuse, where a first signal strength level of the received PPDU is less than an OBSS PD level, and a unit of the first signal strength level is decibel-milliwatt (dBm)/20 MHz.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method applied to a multi-link device in a wireless local area network (WLAN) and a related apparatus. For example, the communication method is applied to a WLAN supporting 802.11be. The method includes: receiving a probe request frame, where the probe request frame is included in a multi-link device (MLD); determining, according to a preset condition, whether to respond to the probe request frame, where the preset condition includes at least the following: a reference identifier in the probe request frame does not match a reference identifier of each station in the MLD; and if the preset condition is satisfied, skipping sending a probe response frame in response to the probe request frame.

An access point determines and sends a band indication and a resource unit allocation indication based on an RU/MRU allocated to a PPDU.     Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication methods and apparatuses, and relates to the field of communication technologies. In one example method, a first communication apparatus generates a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), and sends the PPDU to a second communication apparatus. The PPDU includes a first field with 26 bits, and the first field includes a one-bit unsolicited modulation and coding scheme (MCS) feedback (MFB) subfield and a one-bit first indication information. When a value of the unsolicited MFB subfield is a first value, the first indication information indicates an MCS request (MRQ). When a value of the unsolicited MFB subfield is a second value, the first indication information indicates an uplink extremely high throughput trigger-based PPDU MFB (UL EHT TB PPDU MFB).

    Abstract: The embodiments of this application provides a cyclic shift diversity sequence-based communication method. In the method, a first communication apparatus generates a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) and sends the PPDU to a second communication apparatus. The PPDU includes a short training field (STF), a long training field (LTF), and a data field that are determined based on a cyclic shift diversity (CSD) sequence. After receiving the PPDU from the first communication apparatus, the second communication apparatus performs processing based on the PPDU. The CSD sequence includes L elements. L is a maximum number of spatial streams supported by the first communication apparatus and the second communication apparatus. The maximum number of spatial streams is greater than or equal to 16.
