Abstract: This application provides a channel state information measurement method, to enable a network device to dynamically adjust a quantity of transmit channels, thereby reducing energy consumption of the network device. The network device sends reference signal resource configuration information to a terminal device, where the reference signal resource configuration information indicates P antenna ports. Further, interference between reference signals generated by using cyclic shift values obtained by terminal devices according to the method can be reduced, the interference can be randomized, and channel time-domain filtering performance can be improved.
