This invention provides new control schemes and system configuration to reduce the rainbow effect usually encountered in the field sequential color display systems. By controlling R, G, B color simultaneously using multiple display device systems provide higher quality color display and reducing the rainbow effect. Therefore multiple display device systems have almost same phenomena as the rainbow effect in one frame period. The representative device of this invention is a deformable mirror device that is controlled by the pulse width modulation control or time dividing sequence. The brightness of one color light is determined through total amount of the time of the modulating spatial light modulator elements in one frame. And each color light from spatial light modulator element is combined and projected on a screen. An observer integrated each color image light through one frame to recognize the color. Each color light is modulated for different time period among each color spatial light modulator elements. By modulating different periods among R, G and B color is employed to reduce the false color.
Abstract:
Additional control flexibilities to generate more gray scales for an image display system is achieved by controlling the intensity distribution of the light projection from a light source to a deflecting mirror to further coordinate with the control of the intermediate states of the deflecting mirror. The control light source intensity distribution can provide incident light with wide varieties of intensity distributions including non-uniform, symmetrical and non-symmetrical, different distributions of polarizations, various cross sectional shapes of the incident lights and other combinations of all of the above variations. More stable and better control of gray scale control is also achieved by optimizing the intensity distributions of the incident light to produce the best visual effects of the image display.

Abstract:
A detergent builder is composed of a maleic acid copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight in a range of from 5,000 to 100,000, wherein a molar ratio of a maleic acid (salt) monomer to total monomers used in a process is in a range of from 0.1 to 0.9. The detergent builder is obtained by a copolymerization reaction of the monomers using a hydrogen peroxide and a persulfate as a polymerization initiator. As such detergent builder has high calcium ion stability constant and desirable property against iron particle deposition, it is suitably used as a detergent composition. The detergent builder may be prepared by granulation with agitation of powders containing the maleic acid copolymer as water-soluble polycarboxylic acid (salt) using a surface active agent. Such detergent builder has improved angle of repose, fluidity, and hygroscopicity, and the detergent builder having the described properties can be prepared by the dry-mixing process, thereby permitting the detergent composition having described excellent properties to be manufactured at low cost.
