A timing synchronization method performed in a terminal may comprise receiving information on a common delay of a service link between the terminal and a base station from the base station; transmitting a physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble to the base station by reflecting the common delay with respect to a random access channel (RACH) occasion associated with a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) block received from the base station; receiving a first random access response (RAR) including a timing adjustment value reflecting a differential delay between the terminal and the base station from the base station; and performing uplink transmission to the base station by reflecting the common delay and the timing adjustment value.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for configuring a bandwidth for supporting a broadband carrier in a communication system. An operation method of a base station comprises the steps of: configuring a first bandwidth part and a second bandwidth part for a terminal; configuring a reserved resource for the first bandwidth part in a resource area in which the first bandwidth part and the second bandwidth part overlap; and performing an operation of transmitting or receiving a second data channel, which is scheduled to the second bandwidth part, together with the terminal by using the reserved resource. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.

Disclosed is an operation method of a base station in a mobile communication system. The operation method may comprise performing a beam management procedure for selecting at least one beam and transmitting a different channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for each beam to a terminal through the at least one beam; receiving a beam quality information for the at least one beam from the terminal; transmitting at least one CSI-RS for CSI acquisition configured according a beam management update procedure based on the beam quality information to the terminal through at least one beam; and receiving a CSI based the CSI-RS for CSI acquisition from the terminal.

A method and an apparatus for transmitting data in communication between terminals are provided. A terminal disposes at least one first reference signal configured based on a first parameter. The terminal disposes at least one second reference signal configured based on a second parameter, in addition to the first reference signal configured based on a first parameter. Data of a first structure in which the first reference signal is included or data of a second structure in which the first reference signal and the second reference signal are included is transmitted.
