Abstract: The present disclosure provides an image processing method and a display device including rows of actual pixels each including actual sub-pixels, and starting positions of actual sub-pixels in odd-numbered and even-numbered rows are staggered by a distance of half of an actual sub-pixel. The method includes: determining rows of theoretical pixels corresponding to a to-be-displayed image, each theoretical pixel including theoretical sub-pixels, each actual pixel corresponding to at least two theoretical pixels; calculating grayscale data of each actual sub-pixel in a manner of: for a target actual pixel, determining a rendering mode for calculating grayscale data of each actual sub-pixel of the target actual pixel according to whether there is a specified detail feature in a pixel area where target theoretical pixels corresponding to the target actual pixel are located, different rendering modes are employed when there is or there is not a specified detail feature in the pixel area.

Abstract: This application relates to an encoding method and apparatus, and a display apparatus. The encoding method includes encoding 8-bit data corresponding to a to-be-encoded byte of to-be-transmitted data into alternative 10-bit data, the to-be-transmitted data including at least one to-be-encoded byte, detecting whether the first-digit data of the alternative 10-bit data is the same as the previous-digit data adjacent to the first-digit data, when the to-be-encoded byte is not the first byte of the to-be-transmitted data, inverting the alternative 10-bit data to obtain target 10-bit data, when the numerical value of the first-digit data is the same as that of the previous-digit data, and determining the alternative 10-bit data as the target 10-bit data, when the numerical value of the first-digit data is different from that of the previous-digit data. The 8-bit data, the alternative 10-bit data and the target 10-bit data are binary data.

Abstract: A signal transmission method and related timing controller, source driver and display device are disclosed. The method includes scrambling a signal to be transmitted by a transmitting unit to obtain a scrambled signal. Each frame of the scrambled signal includes at least one first identification signal sequentially arranged in time domain, and a number of the first identification signals in the scrambled signal is equal to a number of the first identification signals in the scrambled signals of other transmitting units in the plurality of transmitting units. The method includes transmitting the scrambled signal to a corresponding receiving unit, where the first identification signal is configured to indicate linear feedback shift registers of the transmitting unit and the corresponding receiving unit to perform a reset operation, and after each collective reset operation is completed, the corresponding receiving unit outputs a display signal to the display panel.
