Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a backlight module and a display device. The backlight module includes a backboard, the backboard includes a base plate and a plurality of side plates perpendicular to the base plate. The plurality of side plates are connected end to end around the base plate, and define an accommodating space having an opening with the base plate. The backlight module further includes a light guide plate (LGP) located in the accommodating space and a light source located at a light incident side of the LGP. The light source includes a substrate and a light emitting element disposed on the substrate, the substrate is parallel to and mounted on one side plate. One light emergent side of the light-emitting element (302) is opposite to the light incident side of the LGP.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a fingerprint identification method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The fingerprint identification method includes: acquiring a touch position of an object on a display panel comprising a backlight module having a plurality of light emitting elements arranged into an array, in response to the object on the display panel; lighting at least one of the plurality of light emitting elements according to the touch position; collecting fingerprint information from the display panel, wherein the fingerprint information is obtained based on light which is emitted by the at least one lit light emitting element and is reflected by the object; and performing fingerprint identification according to the fingerprint information.

Abstract: A light guide plate, a method of fabricating a light guide plate, a backlight module and a display device are disclosed. The light guide plate includes a light guide layer and a grating layer. The light guide layer includes a light incident surface, a light exit surface, and a bottom surface opposite to the light exit surface. The grating layer is disposed on a side of the light guide layer with the light exit surface being on the side and including a plurality of grating strips. The bottom surface is provided with a plurality of optical dots. The plurality of optical dots are configured to deflect light rays from the light incident surface toward the grating strips. The plurality of grating strips are configured to deflect light rays emitted from the light exit surface toward a normal line of the light exit surface.

Abstract: A display panel includes a plurality of sub-panels tiled in sequence along a first direction. The sub-panels have a first edge and a second edge in the first direction.
