Abstract: In some embodiments, a search input area and a soft keyboard are displayed on a touch screen display. In response to detecting a first input on the soft keyboard, one or more search input characters are displayed in the search input area and a search of content from multiple applications is performed using the one or more search input characters. A first portion of a list of search results is displayed while concurrently displaying the soft keyboard on the touch screen display. In response to detecting a second input on a predetermined key of the soft keyboard, the soft keyboard ceases to be displayed and a second portion of the list of search results is displayed while the first portion of the list of search results continues to be displayed.

Abstract: A method includes displaying, on a touch-sensitive display, a plurality of application icons in a first configuration at locations on a hexagonal grid in relation to an origin. The application icons have corresponding ranks based on their respective locations in relation to the origin. In response to detecting a movement of a user contact from a first position to a second position: the display of a first application icon at a first location is translated to a second position; a second configuration of the application icons is determined based on the first location and the second location; and the display of the application icons is transitioned from the first configuration to the second configuration. In the second configuration, no application icon except the first application icon is displaced by more than one location relative to the first configuration.

Abstract: In an exemplary process, while a device is in a locked state, a lock screen interface including a camera icon is displayed on a touch-sensitive display. A gesture is detected on the touch-sensitive display. In response to a determination that the gesture is on the camera icon and meets predetermined activation criteria, the lock screen interface ceases to be displayed and an interface for a camera application displayed. Abstract: An electronic device with a display and a fingerprint sensor displays a fingerprint enrollment interface and detects, on the fingerprint sensor, a plurality of finger gestures performed with a finger. The device collects fingerprint information from the plurality of finger gestures performed with the finger. After collecting the fingerprint information, the device determines whether the collected fingerprint information is sufficient to enroll a fingerprint of the finger. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device enrolls the fingerprint of the finger with the device. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is not sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device displays a message in the fingerprint enrollment interface prompting a user to perform one or more additional finger gestures on the fingerprint sensor with the finger.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a media content delivery service. A media content provider includes a data store for storing and serving media content to subscribers. The media content provider continually records and or otherwise stores video and audio content from around the world. Stored content will generally correspond to a large number of other media content providers, such as cable television operators, Internet based media content providers, television networks, and so on. Subscribers to the media provider interact with the media content provider via hardware and/or software mechanisms either provided by the media content provider or conforming to specifications of the media content provider. Based on these subscriber's subscriptions to the other content providers, the subscribers will have viewing, listening, or application execution privileges for content maintained in the data store. Content of a subscriber corresponding to multiple video content providers is maintained and served by a single provider.
