摘要： An exemplary fixing apparatus is for mounting a hard disk drive (HDD) having a plurality of holes defined in sidewalls and includes a first side plate, a bracket, and a plurality of fixing pins. The bracket includes an end plate, and a second side plate perpendicular to the end plate. One end of the first side plate is pivotably attached to a free end of the end plate of the bracket. The other end of the first plate includes a latch extending therefrom. The second side plate includes a latch extending from a free end thereof, to detachably engage with the latch of the first side plate. The fixing pins are attached to the first side plate and the second side plate to engage in the holes of the HDD.

摘要： A portable computer includes a base unit (70), and a display unit (10) pivotally connected to the base unit for movement between a closed position and an open position. A pair of hooks (11) is arranged on the display unit, each hook including a latching portion (113). A pair of catches (571) is arranged on the base unit and movable with respect to the hooks, each catch including a free end which snappingly engages the latching portion of a corresponding hook to attach the display unit to the base unit at the closed position. The latching portion of each hook defines an arcuate surface (574) along which each hook drives a corresponding catch to disengage from each other during movement of the display unit from a closed position to an open position.

The latch mechanism includes a first latch member pivotably attached to the second slide rail, and a second latch member movably attached to the second slide rail. The first latch member includes a driving portion, an operating portion, and a first stop portion. The second latch member includes a second stop portion and a driven portion. A protrusion extends from the first slide rail capable of being blocked between the first and second stop portion to confine the second slide rail relative to the first slide rail. The operating portion is capable of being pressed to bias the first latch member, such that the driving portion drives the driven portion to bias the second latch member to thereby release the protrusion of the first slide rail from the first and second stop portions.

The actuating members engage with the stop members to latch the second rail in the first rail in two opposite directions. The other actuating member is driven by the second release member to disengage from the other stop member so that the second rail is released along the other direction.

摘要： A multi-section slide assembly includes an outer slide, an intermediate slide, an inner slide, a positioning member, and an actuating member. The outer slide forms a locking tab. The intermediate slide is received in the outer slide. The intermediate slide defines two receiving slots and at least one slit. The positioning member is mounted to the intermediate slide, and includes at least one positioning tab extending downward therefrom. The positioning tab extends through the slit and abuts against the locking tab. The actuating member is mounted between the intermediate member and the positioning member. The actuating member forms two arms. Two arrises protrude downward from the arms of the actuating member and extend through the corresponding receiving slots of the intermediate slide. The inner slide is received in the intermediate slide. The inner slide is capable of being slid in to depress the arms of the actuating member to tilt the actuating member, whereby the positioning tab is lifted up to disengage from the locking tab.
