Abstract:
Oil seed protein isolates, particularly canola protein isolate, are produced continuously from oil seed meals, preferably at a high purity level of at least about 100 wt % (Nx 6.25), by a process wherein oil seed protein is continuously extracted from oil seed meal, the resulting protein solution is continuously concentrated, preferably to a protein content of at least about 200 g/L, and the concentrated protein solution is continuously mixed with chilled water having a temperature below about 15° C. to form protein micellar, which are settled in the settling vessel to provide a protein micellar mass (PMM) while supernatant overflows the vessel. The PMM, when accumulated to a desired degree, may be separated from supernatant and dried. The supernatant may be processed to recover additional oil seed protein isolate.

Abstract:
A fiber tail assembly (FTA) with a micro-lens formed in the fiber tip is used to couple the laser light out of the package and along the fiber. The FTA is soldered at two points where metallized bands are deposited on the fiber pigtail, one at a fiber mount near the diode where it can be soldered into alignment with the laser diode, and two at the snout which forms a feed through the housing and seal for the package. Typically, the FTA is metallized along its entire length within the package. In this invention the two-metallized bands are separated by a region that is unmetallized.
Abstract:
A molecular sieve and a molecular sieve catalyst containing a surface heat impregnated with a metal. The molecular sieve is heated in the presence of a metal containing solution at a temperature between 30° C. and 400° C. then separated from the metal containing solution. The molecular sieve and molecular sieve catalyst is used to make olefin from an oxygenate feedstock.
Abstract:
The application provides a catalyst for producing ethylene and propylene from methanol and/or dimethyl ether, and a preparation and application thereof. In the present application, a molecular sieve catalyst co-modified by rare earth metals and silanization is utilized. First, the material containing methanol and/or dimethyl ether reacts on the catalyst to generate hydrocarbons. The hydrocarbons are separated into a C1-C5 component and a C6+ component. Then the C6+ component is recycled to the feeding port and fed into the reactor after mixing with methanol and/or dimethyl ether. The above steps are repeated, to finally generate C1-C5 products, in which the selectivity for ethylene and propylene can reach more than 90 wt % in the C1-C5 component, so that the maximal yield can be achieved in the production of ethylene and propylene from methanol and/or dimethyl ether.

Methods and systems for transmission and reception of ternary phase-shift keyed data that include mapping triplets of binary bits to pairs of ternary symbols, such that three bits of data are encoded across two symbols having three-point constellations; modulating the pairs of ternary symbols onto a carrier; and transmitting the modulated carrier across a transmission medium.
Abstract:
A method for providing hand detection may include receiving feature transformed image data for a series of image frames, determining asymmetric difference data indicative of differences between feature transformed image data of a plurality of frames of the series of image frames and a reference frame, and determining a target area based on an intersection of the asymmetric difference data. An apparatus and computer program product corresponding to the method are also provided.
Abstract:
This application provides a catalyst for producing paraxylene by co-conversion of methanol and/or dimethyl ether and C4 liquefied gas, and preparation and application thereof. The catalyst is an aromatization molecular sieve catalyst with a shape-selective function co-modified by bimetal and siloxane compound. Methanol and/or dimethyl ether and C4 liquefied gas are fed in reactor together, wherein aromatization reaction occurring on a modified shape-selective molecular sieve catalyst. The yield of aromatics is effectively improved, in which paraxylene is the main product. In products obtained by co-conversion of methanol and/or dimethyl ether and C4 liquefied gas, the yield of aromatics is greater than 70 wt %, and the content of paraxylene in aromatics is greater than 80 wt %, and the selectivity of paraxylene in xylene is greater than 99 wt %.
