摘要: In a printing section, inks of four colors and a transparent ink are jetted onto an image formation area of a recording paper on which an image is recorded, and a transparent ink is jetted onto an adhesion area at which the recording paper is adhered to the other recording paper. Thereafter, the ink on the image formation area is cured by irradiating ultraviolet rays to the image formation area, and with the transparent ink in the adhesion area not cured as the ultraviolet rays are not irradiated to the adhesion area, the recording paper is discharged to a paper discharge tray of an adhering section. When all the recording papers to be adhered are aligned in the paper discharge tray, the adhesion area of the plurality of recording papers is pressed and heated by a heating plate, and the recording papers P are adhered to each other.

摘要: For electrically connecting a wiring formed on one surface of an insulating substrate such as an FPC to an individual electrode arranged facing the other surface of the substrate, firstly, a through hole and a notch are formed by irradiating a laser beam from above onto the FPC. Next, the FPC is arranged to be positioned such that the individual electrode, the through hole and the notch are overlapped in a plan view. Next, an electroconductive liquid droplet having a diameter greater than a width of the notch is jetted, toward an area formed with the notch, from the one surface side of the FPC. The landed electroconductive liquid droplet flows along the notch in a thickness direction of the substrate due to an action of a capillary force and reaches assuredly to the individual electrode, thereby electrically connecting the wiring and electrode arranged sandwiching the insulating substrate assuredly.

摘要: An ink-jet head includes a channel unit in which two sets of a manifold and five pressure chambers adjacent to the manifold are formed, a vibration plate which is provided on an upper surface of the channel unit, a piezoelectric layer which is provided on an upper surface of the vibration plate, and a piezoelectric actuator which includes individual electrodes provided on an upper surface of the piezoelectric layer, corresponding to the pressure chambers. The vibration plate is arranged such that the vibration plate covers 10 pressure chambers and two manifolds, and on a lower surface of the vibration plate, in an area overlapping with the two manifolds, a recess having a cross-sectional shape of a taper is formed. Due to the recess, a pressure wave which is propagated to the manifold can be attenuated assuredly.

摘要: A liquid supply apparatus includes a container mounting portion and a liquid container. The liquid container includes a case configured to store liquid therein, a first movable member positioned in the case, a second movable member positioned on the case, and a retainer configured to retain the second movable member in the first position. The first movable member and the second movable member include a pair of magnetic materials. When the second movable member moves from a first position to a second position, the first movable member is released from a fixed state in which the first movable member is immovably fixed to the case by a magnetic force acting between the pair of magnetic materials.
