Abstract: A hearing device comprising a first earphone with a first driver unit and a second earphone comprising a second driver unit. The headset further comprises a first ambient microphone adapted for converting ambient noise to an ambient input signal. A first electric circuitry adapted for receiving the first ambient input sound signal from the ambient microphone and in an ambient mode outputting a first ambient output sound signal of a certain level to the first driver unit. An activation circuit is adapted to activate and deactivate the ambient mode for the hearing device. In the ambient mode, the ambient output sound signal is sent to the first driver unit and not the second driver unit.

Abstract: An electronic device is configured for facilitating call communication with at least one hearing device is provided, Additionally, a method for call communication with at least one hearing device, and a hearing device is provided. The electronic device comprises a first interface for interconnecting with a call communication software, e.g. via a call protocol, and an interacting unit configured for interacting with the hearing device. The interacting unit is configured for obtaining an audio encryption key and transmitting/presenting the audio encryption key to the hearing device. The electronic device further comprises a transmission unit configured for broadcasting encrypted audio during a call facilitated by the call communication software, the audio being encrypted using the audio encryption key. The audio encryption key may be configured to be valid for a duration of the call.

Abstract: A hearing device configured for audio communication is disclosed. The hearing device comprises a wireless communication unit and a processing unit, the wireless communication unit being configured to receive and transmit audio signals. The processing unit is configured to receive and/or transmit the audio signal from/to the wireless communication unit, process the audio signal in a first frequency band or in a second frequency band, and detect the quality of the audio communication. If the audio signal is processed in the first frequency band, the processing unit is switching to processing in the second frequency band if the quality of the audio communication is below a first predetermined threshold. If the audio signal is processed in the second frequency band, the processing unit is switching to processing in the first frequency band if the quality of the audio communication is above the first predetermined threshold.

Abstract: An earphone comprising housing, a speaker, a speaker protrusion extending along a protrusion axis and comprising an inner protrusion surface and an outer protrusion surface, a resilient eargel comprising an inner eargel surface and an outer eargel surface. The eargel is detachably attached to the speaker protrusion, such that the outer protrusion surface abuts an abutment part of the inner eargel surface in an abutment zone extending along the protrusion axis. The eargel is adapted to be inserted into the outer ear of a user, such that it abuts the ear canal of a user, whereby a cavity is provided between at least the speaker, the inner protrusion surface, the inner eargel surface and the ear canal. The earphone is provided with a vent channel coupling the cavity and the ambient, wherein the vent channel comprises a groove (8) in the outer protrusion surface or the inner eargel surface. The vent channel is provided between the groove in the outer protrusion surface and the inner eargel surface or between the groove in the inner eargel surface and the outer protrusion surface. The groove comprises a first groove part, that extends in a plane orthogonal to the protrusion axis.
