In some aspects, a user equipment may determine an increased bandwidth configuration for an enhanced physical uplink control channel (ePUCCH) based at least in part on an ePUCCH format of the ePUCCH, wherein the increased bandwidth configuration uses a plurality of contiguous resource blocks (RBs) for the ePUCCH; and transmit the ePUCCH using the increased bandwidth configuration. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for applying a beam switch interruption time across one or more active component carriers. In some cases a UE may be able to detect an actual overlap condition in which two physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) monitoring occasions with different beam parameters overlap in time or a soft overlap condition in which a distance between the two PDCCH monitoring occasions in time is less than a threshold value; and to apply a prioritization rule to determine which of the PDCCH monitoring occasions to monitor for PDCCHs in response to detect the actual overlap or a soft overlap (e.g., almost immediately in contact in time or the gap is very small compared to the slot size).

Abstract: An apparatus may be configured to determine that a first random access channel (RACH) procedure with a base station is unsuccessful. The apparatus may be further configured to transmit, after determining that the first RACH procedure is unsuccessful, a preamble message for a second RACH procedure with the base station. A second configuration for the second RACH procedure may be different from a first configuration for the first RACH procedure. Another apparatus may be configured to receive a preamble message from a UE for a second RACH procedure having a second configuration different from a first configuration for a first RACH procedure. The other apparatus may be further configured to determine that the first RACH procedure with the UE is unsuccessful.
