Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may receive an uplink transmission from a user equipment (UE) over a wireless channel and measure a post-digital post-distortion (post-DPOD) signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the uplink transmission. The base station may generate a power output back-off indication for the UE according to the post-DPOD SNR and a change in a post-DPOD noise level of the transmission between a non-linear distortion noise component and a thermal noise component. The base station may transmit the power output back-off indication and a downlink transmission to the UE. In response, the base station may receive an uplink transmission from the UE over the wireless channel. The uplink transmission may be based on the power output back-off indication, a signal quality metric of the downlink transmission, or both.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may indicate to a UE a first set of uplink power control parameters associated with half-duplex communications and a second set of uplink power control parameters associated with full-duplex communications. Alternatively, the base station may indicate the first set of uplink power control parameters and a set of power offsets associated with full-duplex communications. The base station may indicate a first set of resources associated with the first set of uplink power control parameters and a second set of resources associated with the second set of uplink power control parameters or the set of power offsets. In response, the UE may transmit one or more uplink messages over one or more resources of the second set of resources in accordance with the second set of uplink power control parameters or the set of power offsets.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for null-forming at bidirectional smart repeaters. The apparatus transmits, to a repeater, a repeater configuration. The repeater configuration configures the repeater to beam shape at least one beam of the repeater to suppress at least one side lobe of the at least one beam. The apparatus communicates with the repeater based on the repeater configuration. The apparatus receives, from the repeater, information related to an existing codebook of the repeater and associated beam forming capabilities of the repeater. The apparatus receives, from the repeater, information related to a null-forming codebook configured at the repeater.

Abstract: An assisting node receives from a network entity, configuration information relating to one or more control data sets, the one or more control data sets comprising information relating to a plurality of sidelink (SL) nodes. The AN provides a relay sidelink (SL) link via the assisting node between a transmitting (Tx) SL node and a receiving (Rx) SL node of at least one pair of SL nodes from the plurality of SL nodes. The at least one pair of SL nodes is based at least in part on the configuration information.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support a wireless energy transfer service. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a first network node from a second network node, an indication that the second network node supports wireless energy transfer, transmitting, by the first network node to the second network node, a request for wireless energy transfer based on receipt of the indication that the second network node supports wireless energy transfer, and receiving, by the first network node from the second network node, energy for one or more components of the first network node after transmitting the request for wireless energy transfer. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some networks, such as over-deployed integrated access and backhaul (IAB) networks operating in millimeter wave (mmW) bands, may experience high energy consumption if all nodes in the network are fully active at all times. Power utilization modes may mitigate energy consumption by allowing nodes to operate at varying levels of activity. A power utilization mode may include a fully active mode or may drop one or more functions that a fully active node may support, or may support less extensive configurations associated with one or more supported functions, as compared to the configurations associated with a fully active node. Nodes may request information regarding one or more nodes, request a change in power utilizations modes for itself, indicate another node should change modes, or may receive an indication to change modes.

Abstract: Aspects relate to reporting timing adjustment for full-duplex (FD) communications. A method by a user equipment (UE) may include receiving a first timing advance signal from a base station, determining, based on the first timing advance signal, a timing difference between a downlink signal and an uplink signal is not within a threshold, transmitting a timing report to the base station, including the determined timing difference, and receiving, from the base station, an updated timing advance signal for full-duplex (FD) communication based on the timing report.
