Abstract: A UE may establish a communications link with a base station. The UE may determine at least two radio network temporary identifiers (RNTIs) associated with the communications link, wherein each of the at least two RNTIs is associated with a respective relay device of a plurality of relay devices. The UE may receive, from a first relay device of the plurality of relay devices, at least one first stream associated with a first RNTI of the at least two RNTIs, wherein the at least one first stream carries data or control information associated with the communications link. The UE may receive, from a second relay device of the plurality of relay devices, at least one second stream associated with a second RNTI of the at least two RNTIs, wherein the at least one second stream carries data or control information associated with the communications link.

Abstract: A data pipeline between a base station and a user equipment (UE) may be formed via a relay UE. In this regard, a base station is configured to send a joint grant to the first UE, the joint grant including a first resource assignment for transmission of data via a first communication link between the base station and the first UE, and a second resource assignment for transmission of data via a second communication link between the first UE and a second UE. The first and second communications link may form a downlink pipeline for transmitting data from the base station to the UE. The first and second communications link may be used to transmit uplink data in parallel from the first UE to the base station.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication includes identifying, by a first node configured for operation in a synchronous communication mode, a current synchronization boundary according to a common clock of the synchronous communication mode. The method further includes performing, by the first node, a common clock-triggered (CCT) listen before talk (LBT) procedure of a shared communication channel during a periodic quiet interval at the current synchronization boundary. The method further includes establishing, by the first node, in response to success of the CCT LBT procedure, a channel occupancy time (COT) configured to end at a subsequent synchronization boundary and transmitting, by the first node, data on the shared communication channel during the COT.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device (base station or UE) may receive an indication of a listen before talk (LBT) gap for sharing a channel occupancy time (COT), the COT being acquired by another wireless device (base station or UE), and detect whether a slot within the COT is occupied by the other wireless device, the slot occurring prior to the LBT gap. The wireless device may also, responsive to detecting that the slot is occupied by the other wireless device, perform an LBT procedure during the LBT gap, and, responsive to a successful LBT procedure, transmit a signal to the other wireless device within the COT.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to performing spatial-specific listen-before-talk (LBT) with discovery signal transmissions for spectrum sharing are provided. A wireless communication device senses a channel in a spatial domain based on a plurality of expected beam transmission directions. The sensing includes sweeping through multiple directional reception beams and listening to the channel in a direction of each of the multiple directional reception beams. After the sensing, the wireless communication device transmits a channel reservation signal using an omnidirectional transmission beam and also transmits a plurality of discovery signals in one or more of the plurality of expected beam transmission directions during a discovery period to facilitate synchronization in the channel based on the sensing.

Abstract: A configuration utilising L1/L2 signaling to activate or deactivate a direct link in dual or multi-connectivity with relaying devices. The apparatus communicates with a base station using a direct link and using a relay link. The relay link comprises a side link between a first UE and a second UE and a second direct link between the second UE and the base station. The apparatus transmits or receives a request to deactivate the direct link based on a determination by at least one of the base station, the first UE, or the second UE that the direct link between the first UE and the base station is to be deactivated. The request to deactivate the direct link comprises L1 or L2 signaling. The apparatus receives a deactivation command to deactivate the direct link.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that enable a user equipment (UE) in a distributed system to transmit measurement reports for layer 1 (L1) or layer 2 (L2) mobility on a per distributed unit (DU) basis such that each measurement report for L1/L2 mobility contains only measurements of cells that are supported by the same DU. The UE may generate and transmit a DU-specific measurement report to the DU (e.g., via L1/L2 signaling) that includes measurements of cells controlled by the DU. The UE may support various reporting configurations for measurement reporting including per cell, per group of activated cells, or per group of deactivated cells, in each case reporting to the corresponding DU. The UE may also perform joint reporting that includes the measurements of both activated and deactivated cell sets transmitted to the corresponding DU.

The communication device may communicate a data transmission in accordance with a first configured grant configuration of the plurality of configured grant configurations based on a configuration indication in the group DCI indicating the first configured grant configuration.
