Abstract: There is provided a user personality prediction method using pre-obtained personality indicators and time-series information. According to an embodiment, a personality prediction method may acquire personality indicators representing personalities of a user, may acquiring external features of the user as time-series data, may train a personality prediction model with correlations between the acquired external features and the personality indicators, and may predict personality indicators of the user from the external features of the user by using the trained personality prediction model. Accordingly, a personality of a user is predicted in real time based on external features extracted in real time, and hence, personality prediction may be performed flexibly in response to a subtle change in AU intensities acquired as time-series data.

Abstract: There is provided a data interworking method between a oneM2M system and an NGSI-LD system. The data interworking method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: retrieving, by an IPE, resources in the oneM2M system that perform data interworking with the NGSI-LD system; retrieving labels of the retrieved resources; acquiring a mapping-rule from the retrieved labels; and storing the acquired mapping-rule. Accordingly, data interworking between data platforms using different standards is performed more easily, so that technology may go one step further to the goal of interconnecting and servicing all things in a global environment as IoT ultimately pursues.

Abstract: There is provided a query execution method in a DB system in which a plurality of CSDs are used as a storage. According to an embodiment, a query execution method includes: generating snippets for offloading a part of query computations for a query received from a client to CSDs; scheduling the generated snippets for the CSDs; collecting results of offloading; and merging the collected results of offloading. Accordingly, by dividing query computations, offloading, and processing in parallel, while processing query computations that are inappropriate for offloading by a DBMS, a query request from a client can be executed effectively and rapidly.

Abstract: There is a method for monitoring emotion and behavior occurring during a conversation with a user who is in need of protection. According to an embodiment, a user monitoring method receives an input of a user utterance and generates a conversation content by using a conversation model based on a user utterance content, converts the generated conversation content into a voice and outputs the voice, and recognizes emotion of the user by using an emotion analysis model based on the user utterance content and monitors the emotion. Accordingly, the method may monitor behavior/emotion of a user through a natural conversation while allowing a specialist/guardian to monitor an abnormal sign of a user who is in need of protection.

Abstract: A hybrid display is disclosed. The hybrid display includes an electrophoretic module configured to display information through reflection of light incident from an exterior thereof, and a light emitting module formed at a lower surface of the electrophoretic module, to output color light to the electrophoretic module. The electrophoretic module includes a first substrate, a second substrate spaced apart from the first substrate, a plurality of capsules disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, each of the capsules containing particles having a color and a fluid having a color therein, and an electrode configured to apply an electric filed to the capsule, thereby moving the particles. The color light output from the light emitting module is mixed with the color of the fluid, and is then outwardly output. The hybrid display exhibits excellent visibility even in a dark environment, and the background color thereof is variously changeable.

Abstract: Provided is a holographic optical element printing method using a tunable focus lens and a rotating mirror. According to an embodiment, a holographic printer includes: a first optical engine and a second optical engine configured to adjust a phase of an incident collimated beam and emit the collimated beam; and a first reduction optical system and a second reduction optical system configured to reduce the beam emitted from the first optical engine and the second optical engine and to allow the beam to enter a holographic material, wherein each of the first optical engine and the second optical engine includes: a rotating mirror configured to reflect while adjusting the phase of the incident collimated beam through rotation; and a tunable focus lens configured to refract while adjusting the phase of the incident collimated beam reflected from the rotating mirror through focus tuning. Accordingly, by using a combination of a tunable focus lens and a rotating mirror, instead of using an SLM of a holographic printer, quality of an HOE may be enhanced, a printing time per hogel may be reduced and a total recording time may be greatly reduced when holographic printing of the HOE is performed.
