Abstract: Systems and method for configuring and providing discontinuous reception (DRX) operations in sidelink (SL) mode 1 and mode 2 are disclosed. A first user equipment (UE) may operate in DRX communications with a second UE over a SL while concurrently maintaining DRX communications with a base station. In some embodiments, DRX operations may include the first UE monitoring for either one or both of transmissions in a downlink from a base station and in the SL from the second UE during an active period of a DRX cycle of the DRX configuration. In embodiments, the UE may extend the active period associated with the DRX cycle when control information from either the base station or the second UE is received. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication that a secondary cell group (SCG) is to enter an SCG dormant state and an indication for using one or more of configured grant (CG) on an uplink or semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) on a downlink for communication with a secondary node (SN) of the SCG during the SCG dormant state. The UE may communicate with the SN of the SCG during the SCG dormant state using the one or more of CG or SPS. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a set of UEs, an indication of a first semi-static traffic pattern between the first UE and a second UE. In some examples, the first semi-static traffic pattern may indicate a pattern for transmission or reception between the first UE and the second UE using a beam pair during a time period. The first UE may receive a response, from one or more UEs, indicating one or more semi-static traffic patterns for the time period. The first UE may then transmit, to a third UE of the one or more UEs, an indication of selection of a second semi-static traffic pattern for communication between the first UE and the third UE during the time period.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a first sidelink UE measures multiple reference signals periodically transmitted by a second sidelink UE using multiple receive beams corresponding to reference signals in response to a beam failure declared by the first UE. The method also selects one of the reference signals that satisfies a condition. The method further includes notifying the second sidelink UE of the selected reference signal using a beam corresponding to the selected reference signal. Another method of wireless communications by a first sidelink UE includes periodically transmitting, to a second sidelink UE, multiple beam failure recovery (BFR) reference signals across multiple transmit beams. The method also includes receiving, from the second sidelink UE, an indication of a selected beam for communications between the first sidelink UE and the second sidelink UE. The method notifies the second sidelink UE of successful beam failure recovery.

The UE may monitor the first subset of resources for the SCI. The UE may sense for signals associated with a sidelink control signal, the sidelink control signal being associated with at least one other UE, using a second subset of resources, of the set of resources. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communication systems, a first network node may transmit, prior to being radio resource control (RRC)-connected with a second network node, a first message indicating a first capability of the first network node to support full-duplex communications. After transmitting the first message and while RRC-connected with the second network node (and before, during, or after exchanging data with the second network node), the first network node may transmit one or more second messages indicating a second capability of the first network node to support full-duplex communications. The second capability may update or change the first capability indicated via the first message. The first network node and the second network node may communicate in accordance with the second capability indicated in one of the second messages.

Abstract: Processes, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device may monitor a wakeup signal monitoring occasion in an inactive duration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. The communication device may transmit, in a first active duration of the DRX cycle, a channel state information (CSI) report on one or more resources based on monitoring the wakeup signal monitoring occasion. In some examples, the communication device may transmit an indication that the communication device requests reporting of the CSI report in the first active duration of the DRX cycle. The communication device may, in some examples, receive, in a second active duration of the DRX cycle, control information for the UE based on the CSI report.
