    Abstract: Techniques are provided for aligning radio frequency (RF) sensing operations with base station discontinuous reception (DRX) and discontinuous transmission (DTX) cycles. An example method for performing RF sensing operations with a wireless node according to the disclosure includes receiving discontinuous reception or discontinuous transmission information for the wireless node, determining one or more on periods and one or more off periods based on the discontinuous reception or the discontinuous transmission information, performing radio frequency sensing operations with the wireless node during the one or more on periods, and ceasing radio frequency sensing operations with the wireless node during the one or more off periods.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration of a set of search space sets for a downlink control channel. The UE may determine a quantity of downlink control channel units (e.g., downlink control channel elements, downlink control channel candidates) for monitoring over the set of search space sets, where downlink control channel units that overlap may be counted separately. For instance, the downlink control channel units may overlap in time and frequency and/or may have a same associated payload size and associated set of control channel elements. The UE may monitor the downlink control channel according to a subset of the set of search space sets, where the subset excludes one or more of the set of search space sets based on the quantity of downlink control channel units satisfying a threshold.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may be provided with one or more hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier pools that each include one or more HARQ process identifiers. The HARQ process identifier pools may be associated with one or more delay parameters and may be configured to support different delay parameters. Similarly, the HARQ process identifiers included in a HARQ process identifier pool may be configured to support different delay parameters. The UE may prioritize HARQ process identifiers from the one or more HARQ process identifier pools for uplink communications to support delay parameters for the uplink communication.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communications. A first network entity (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) may receive information indicative of a first discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration and information indicative of a second DRX configuration. The first DRX configuration is indicative of a first DRX on-duration of the first network entity. One or more DRX configuration parameter values of the second DRX configuration are different from one or more DRX configuration parameter values of the first DRX configuration. The first network entity determines a discontinuous transmission (DTX) enabled state of a second network entity (e.g., a base station, such as a gNodeB (gNB)). The DTX enabled state corresponds to a DTX on-duration of the second network entity. The first DRX on-duration is within the DTX on-duration of the second network entity. The first network entity receives, from the second network entity, downlink information during the first DRX on-duration.
