    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a network entity or a user equipment (UE), or both, to utilize a set of tones configured for tone reservation (TR) with full-duplex communications. The set of tones may be included in some boundary between, or that overlaps with, uplink and/or downlink resources configured for full-duplex communications. For example, a transmitting device (e.g., the network entity, the UE, or both) may use a boundary that overlaps with an uplink subband and/or a downlink subband for TR signaling. A transmitting device (e.g., the UE and/or network entity) may transmit one or more TR signals via resources associated with the boundary configured for TR, whereas data signals may be transmitted using resources configured for full-duplex communications that are different from the resources associated with the region configured for TR.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a capability message indicating that the UE supports performing inter-UE cross-link interference (CLI) measurements in an uplink subband and in at least one downlink subband during one or more overlapping subband full-duplex symbols. The UE may receive, based at least in part on the capability message, a measurement resource configuration for performing the inter-UE CLI measurements in the uplink subband and the at least one downlink subband. The UE may transmit, according to the measurement resource configuration, a measurement report message indicating a measurement result for the inter-UE CLI measurements.

An example method of performing a round trip time message exchange includes performing the round trip time message exchange with a wireless node including receiving a downlink positioning reference signal and transmitting an uplink positioning reference signal, wherein the round trip time message exchange is associated with at least one duplex mode, and reporting a receive-transmit time difference measurement value based on the round trip time message exchange, wherein the reporting includes an indication of the at least one duplex mode.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for cross link interference measurements by low-tier UEs are described. An apparatus is configured to obtain a CLI measurement based on a set of RBs associated with a DL channel from a network node. The set of RBs includes one of (1) less than a total number of RBs configured for a signal strength CLI measurement or (2) at least the total number of RBs configured for a power CLI measurement. The set of RBs is within a CLI time period that exceeds a CLI time threshold. The apparatus is configured to activate, based on the CLI measurement, a TDD slot format associated with a TDD configuration or a communication schedule from the network node.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for uplink power control in which an aggressor UE applies different power control schemes in respective uplink resource allocations to mitigate inter-UE interference or simplify NLIC at the victim UE. The aggressor UE initially obtains a first uplink resource allocation in which one power control scheme is to be applied, and determines at least a second uplink resource allocation including a subset of resources of the first uplink resource allocation in which a different power control scheme is to be applied. The UE also obtains various uplink power control parameters associated with the respective uplink resource allocations, where one or more of these parameters has a different value for the second uplink resource allocation than for first uplink resource allocation. The UE then sends uplink data in the uplink resource allocations using different transmission powers associated with the different parameters.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless communications system may employ subband full-duplex (SBFD). In SBFD resources, a first user equipment (UE) may experience cross link interference (CLI) from a second UE if the second UE transmits using a frequency that is similar to a frequency of the subbands used by the first UE. The network may configure a CLI measurement resource in an SBFD time resource and may indicate in which subbands to measure CLI. The network may also indicate the reporting quantities (e.g., whether to report CLI measurement information per subband or combined per communication direction). CLI measurements may be generated in a subband manner. A CLI measurement for a CLI subband that overlaps with different subbands may be generated for the uplink subband only, may be generated for both the uplink subband and the guard band, or may be skipped.
