Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may transmit a first request for the uplink (UL) communications with a network node to be switched from a first serving cell in a first frequency range and a second serving cell in a second frequency range to a serving cell over a single first frequency range based on switching from a static codebook based hybrid beamforming to at least one of an adaptive beam weight hybrid beamforming. The method further includes transmitting, from the wireless device to the network entity, a message indicating that the subset of antenna elements is to be used to communicate in the second communication direction. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may dynamically cancel and reschedule configured transmission occasions for communicating with a user equipment (UE). The transmission occasions may be configured according to a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration (e.g., for downlink transmissions) or a configured grant (CG) configuration (e.g., for uplink transmissions). The base station may transmit a dynamic grant to the UE that indicates a cancellation of a transmission occasion and schedules a dynamic transmission occasion for communicating data scheduled for transmission at the canceled transmission occasion. In some examples, the cancellation in the grant may be explicit or implicit.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) measures at least a line-of-sight (LOS) path and a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) path of a first downlink positioning reference signal (DL-PRS) from a first transmission-reception point (TRP), measures at least an LOS path and an NLOS path of a second DL-PRS from a second TRP, measures at least an LOS path and an NLOS path of a third DL-PRS from a third TRP, and enables a location of a non-participating target object to be determined based, at least in part, on reference signal time difference (RSTD) measurements between a time of arrival (ToA) of the LOS path of the first DL-PRS and the ToAs of the NLOS paths of the first, second, and third DL-PRS. In an aspect, the non-participating target object does not participate in determining its own location.

In some aspects, a base station may determine a result associated with an initial set of transmissions of a periodic transmission cycle, and switch a search space configuration set to be used for one or more slots of the periodic transmission cycle based at least in part on the result, the search space configuration set being switched to a candidate search space configuration set. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine that a search space configuration set to be used for a slot of a periodic transmission cycle is to be switched based at least in part on a result associated with an initial set of transmissions of the periodic transmission cycle; and switch the search space configuration, the search space configuration set being switched to a candidate search space configuration set.
