    Abstract: A power tool for obtaining a channel equalization and improving the signal to noise ratio in an amplified optical link. A controller obtains a plurality of optical channel power values for a plurality of channels used for transmitting optical signals on an optical link by a plurality of optical transmitters. The optical channel power values are obtained by monitoring power at an input or an output of an amplifier on the optical link. The controller then determines a power distribution among the plurality of channels based on a maximum optical power and a minimum optical power from the plurality of optical channel power values and generates a plurality of adjusted channel power values by equalizing and scaling the plurality of optical channel power values. The controller configures the plurality of optical transmitters for transmitting the optical signals on the optical link based on the plurality of adjusted channel power values.

    Abstract: Techniques for determining a preferred HTTP protocol for communication between a client device and a server over a network are described. A first type of HTTP probe is transmitted over a network from a client device to a server. A second type of HTTP probe is transmitted over a network from the client device to the server. If either the first type of HTTP probe response or the second type of HTTP probe response, the type of the HTTP probe response received is the preferred communication protocol. If the first type of HTTP probe response and the second type of HTTP probe response is received, a type of HTTP probe response received first is the preferred communication protocol. The client device communicates with the server over the network using the preferred communication protocol.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for allocating clients between radios of an access point is disclosed. The system includes a first antenna coupled to a first radio, a second antenna coupled to a second radio, and a monitoring radio coupled to the first antenna and second antenna. The system includes computer-readable instructions that cause the system to receive at the monitoring radio, a first client attribute from each of a plurality of first client devices, and a second client attribute from each of a plurality of second client devices, and provide each aforementioned attribute to an optimization function. The system determines, with the optimization function, that one of the first radio and second radio will optimize performance for at least one device of the plurality of first client devices and second client devices and steer the at least one device accordingly.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a device represents each of a plurality of objects depicted in video data captured by a plurality of cameras over time as a set of key points associated with that object. The device forms, for each of the plurality of objects, a set of timeseries of the set of key points associated with that object. The device performs reidentification of a particular one of the plurality of objects across video data captured by two or more of the plurality of cameras by matching sets of timeseries of key points associated with that object derived from video data captured by two or more of the plurality of cameras. The device provides an indication of the reidentification for display to a user.

    Abstract: First, a plurality of access tokens may be received from a respective plurality of identity provider services. Each of the plurality of access tokens may be associated with a user. Then, the plurality of access tokens may be stored in a profile associated with the user. Next, user polices associated with the use of the plurality of access tokens may be assigned. A device token may then be provided to a user device associated with the user. The device token may be associated with the profile. The device token and network policies may be received and then it may be determined that the user polices and the network policies are congruent. In response to determining that the user polices and the network policies are congruent, authentication to at least one of the plurality identity provider services may be made.
