    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support controlling transmit power of one or more groups of user equipment (UE) sidelinks using a single sidelink control transmission of group transmit power control (TPC) information. A first UE may transmit group TPC information to one or more groups of UEs, such as by including the group TPC information in sidelink control information (SCI). The group TPC information may include a group TPC indicator and one or more TPC messages for providing one or more group TPC commands with respect to groups of sidelinks. The group TPC commands may provide for power control with respect to a respective group of UEs for one or more channels. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support relaxed sensing for new radio (NR) sidelink over millimeter wave (mmW) operating frequencies. In a first aspect, a method by a user equipment (UE) of wireless communication includes identifying a resource selection trigger that indicates selection of one or more sidelink slots from a resource selection window. The UE may obtain long-term interference sensing statistics observed by the UE prior to the resource selection trigger. The UE can reduce a default sensing window length in accordance with the long-term interference sensing statistics and transmit a sidelink transmission in the selected sidelink slots. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may perform single frequency network (SFN) manner relaying in sidelink to support exchanging packets between UEs, for example, without maintaining beamforming alignment between the UEs. A first UE (e.g., a source UE or destination UE) may establish a pre-agreement with a second UE for the second UE to operate as an SFN-manner relay over sidelink for the first UE. The pre-agreement may be reached via a publish-and-subscription procedure, in which the second UE publishes an SFN-type relaying service and the first UE subscribes to the SFN-type relaying service. The second UE may receive sidelink signaling associated with the first UE (e.g., transmitted by or to the first UE) and may relay the sidelink signaling in a resource configured for SFN-type transmission based on the first UE being subscribed to the SFN-type relaying service.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for narrowband communications using frequency hopping in an unlicensed frequency band. In some aspects, a base station (BS) and a user equipment (UE) may communicate with one another over a sequence of unique frequency sub-bands of a frequency hopping pattern. In some instances, the BS and the UE may switch from a current frequency sub-band to another frequency sub-band based on a number of unsuccessful attempts to gain access to the current frequency sub-band. In some other instances, the BS and the UE may communicate data using configured grant (CG) resources based on a number of unsuccessful attempts to gain access to the current frequency sub-band.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink control indicator (SCI) from a second UE and selects resources and directions for communication. The SCI may include one or more resources and corresponding directions reserved by the second UE. The first UE may use the resources and directions indicated in the received SCI to select available resources with which to reserve forward direction transmissions, reverse direction transmissions, or both. For example, the first UE may avoid reserving resources and directions corresponding to the resources and directions indicated in the received SCI, or may reserve such resources despite receiving the SCI, such as if the received SCI has a relatively low reference signal received power (RSRP). The first UE may transmit an SCI indicating resources reserved by the first UE and associated directionalities.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a first user equipment (UE) may transmit sidelink communications to a second UE, and the second UE may provide feedback associated with the sidelink communication to the first UE in a sidelink control information (SCI) transmission. In some cases, the SCI is first stage SCI transmitted in a sidelink control channel or second stage SCI transmitted in a sidelink shared channel. The feedback may include one or more of acknowledgment/negative-acknowledgment feedback, channel state information feedback, a scheduling request, or any combinations thereof. In some cases, the first UE may indicate resources of the second slot to the second UE for transmission of the feedback in the SCI, such as by providing a time offset value and resource index that identifies the resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may receive control signaling indicating multiple sidelink channels of a sidelink resource pool, a mapping between each sidelink channel of the multiple sidelink channels to a corresponding feedback channel of multiple feedback channels, and a time gap between sidelink channel transmission and feedback transmission with respect to a feedback channel sub-slot of multiple feedback channel sub-slots within a slot. Accordingly, the first wireless device may receive a sidelink data message on a first sidelink channel of the multiple sidelink channels and may transmit sidelink feedback information for the sidelink data message in the feedback channel sub-slot of the slot on a first feedback channel of the multiple feedback channels corresponding to the first sidelink channel. The described techniques may enable the first wireless device to transmit the sidelink feedback information with reduced latency and improved reliability.
