摘要: A degradable drug-loaded stent and a manufacturing method therefor. The degradable drug-loaded stent comprises a stent body, an outer surface of the stent body being provided with a drug-loaded groove, the stent body having a contracted state and an expanded state, the stent body being capable of switching from the contracted state to the expanded state via radial expansion, the stent body being a mesh columnar structure when in the expanded state, the depth of the drug-loaded groove being 10%-60% of the wall thickness of the mesh columnar structure.

摘要: A continuous wire stent includes a wire bent into a waveform and spirally wrapped into a helix having a plurality of bands that form a hollow cylindrical shape. The waveform includes a plurality of waves, each wave including a first outer crown including a first intrados, a second outer crown including a second intrados facing the first intrados, a first mid-crown disposed between the first outer crown and the second outer crown, a second mid-crown disposed between the second outer crown and an outer crown of a next wave of the waveform, a first strut connecting the first outer crown to the first mid-crown, a second strut connecting the first mid-crown to the second outer crown, a third strut connecting the second outer crown to the second mid-crown, and a fourth strut connecting the second mid-crown to the outer crown in the next wave of the waveform.

摘要: Described herein are artificial valves that have a frame and leaflets that grow or expand with a patient. Upon placing the valve inside the patient, the valve expands as the annulus of the patient expands. The frame of the valve is configured to expand which in turn causes the leaflets to expand (e.g., to grow). The valve includes a thin undulating wire embedded inside the leaflets. As the annulus of the patient grows, the frame expands, and as the frame expands, the leaflets grow. The growth or expansion of the leaflets is configured so that the valve continues to operate properly (e.g., the leaflets continue to coapt) with expansion of the annulus. The change in size of the valve can be configured to accommodate changes in size of the annulus from an infant or child to an adult.

摘要: The stent having self-expandability, the stent including: a body part formed in a tubular shape by a wire; and a first locking part and a second locking part protruding outward in a radial direction of the body part and formed by the wire. A first angle formed by a protrusion direction of the first locking part and an axial direction of the body part is different from a second angle formed by a protrusion direction of the second locking part and the axial direction.

摘要: Apparatus and methods are described including implanting an aortic pressure-loss-reduction device (20) in a subject's ascending aorta. While the device is inside a catheter (42), a distal end of the catheter is placed within the ascending aorta. A proximal covering sheath (44) of the catheter is retracted such as to uncover at least a portion of a downstream anchor (31), such that the uncovered portion of the downstream anchor includes a portion of the frame that does not have material coupled thereto. Subsequently, a distal covering sheath (45) of the catheter is advanced, such as to cause an upstream anchor (33) to anchor an upstream end device (20) to the subject's ascending aorta, by the upstream anchor radially expending against an inner wall of the ascending aorta. Other applications are also described.

摘要: A stent and a method for manufacturing the stent are disclosed. A stent according to an embodiment of the present invention is manufactured by using a jig having a cylindrical body on which a plurality of pins (P) are arranged in the circumferential direction (X) and the lengthwise direction (Y). The stent has a cylindrical structure, in which a wire member forms a zigzag pattern woven in the circumferential direction (X) with a predetermined width through the pins on the jig and a plurality of zigzag patterns formed in the circumferential direction (X), intersecting with one another, are arranged in the lengthwise direction with predetermined intervals (W) therebetween, forming a mesh structure with a rhombus pattern.

摘要: A medical device includes a tubular support structure having a plurality of ringlets arranged sequentially along a common longitudinal axis thereof, a plurality of long connecting elements and optionally, a plurality of short connecting elements to connect the plurality of ringlets. Each of the plurality of ringlet is formed by of plurality of crowns connected along a circumferential direction, each crown being formed by two straight struts arranged in V-shaped configuration. At least one of the plurality of long connecting elements connects adjacent ringlets. In addition, consecutive long connecting elements connecting adjacent ringlets are to form a mirror-reflection of each other about a radial plane of reflection.
