摘要: According to one aspect, a system and method of exchanging GRUUs (Globally Routed User Agent URI (Uniform Resource Identifier)) between a first telephony-enabled device and a second telephony enabled device using a circuit-switched message is provided. Once exchanged, the telephony enabled devices can exchange SIP (session initiated protocol) communications routed by the GRUUs. Any one of the telephony-enabled devices can add a media component to the SIP communications. According to another aspect, a system and method of generating GRUUs is provided. According to another aspect, a system and method of handing off communications to a packet switched network from a circuit switched network is provided.

摘要: Provided are a computer-implemented method, a computing system and a non-transitory storage medium. In the method, available Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) accessible on a User Equipment (UE) are determined. The available WLANs on the UE are prioritized based on degree of wireless connectivity. The UE is connected to a first WLAN with the highest degree of wireless connectivity. A registration request is sent, over the first WLAN, to an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) for the UE. A status of the IMS registration for the UE is received from the IMS, where the status includes a successful registration status or an unsuccessful registration status. Upon receiving the successful registration status of the IMS registration, data packets are transmitted to the IMS.

The method includes receiving, by an interrogating session control node, a Session Initiation Protocol, SIP register message for registering said UE in said IMS telecommunication network, the SIP register message has a UE capability feature mappable to a UE initiated server capability for the serving session control node, transmitting, by the interrogating session control node, to a Home Subscriber Server, a user authorization request message comprising the UE capability feature, receiving, by the interrogating session control node, from the Home Subscriber Server, a user authorization answer message including one or more UE initiated server capabilities for a serving session control node, selecting, by the interrogating session control node, a serving session control node based on the one or more received UE initiated server capabilities in the user authorization answer message.

摘要: Audio conferences between multiple participants may be conducted without preconfigured passcodes by associating a toll line with a particular conference partner. Users of a conferencing system may dial the toll line and enter a passcode. The first user to enter may enter any passcode of their choosing, such as a passcode agreed to by other conference participants. If no conference with that passcode is currently executing on the conference platform, a new conference is activated. Subsequent users who enter the same passcode are joined to the conference.

摘要: A UE is assigned a first server for session control of the session. The first IMS node sends a request to a subscriber server associated with the UE. The request requests assistance data for selecting a second server to be assigned to the UE for the session control. The first IMS node selects a second server to be assigned to the UE for session control, based on the requested assistance data. The first IMS node sends an invitation to the selected second server. The invitation includes an indication indicating that the selected second server is selected to replace the first server. The indication triggers the selected second server, to indicate to the subscriber server to register the address of the selected second server in the subscriber server, to replace the first server in being assigned to the UE for the session control.

摘要: A distributed network system for call processing, according to one embodiment, includes: a plurality of relay devices; and a call routing server for managing information about the plurality of relay devices and information about subscribers registered to the plurality of relay devices, where each of the plurality of relay devices can include: a database; a protocol relay unit; a call processing unit for checking whether the sender of a call and the receiver of the call are at least one subscriber, on the basis of an SIP signal incoming through the protocol relay unit; and a packet processing unit for realigning incoming phone call packets of the call according to the sequence of the phone call packets, and adjusting the transmission speed of the realigned phone call packets according to a situation in which the phone call packets are incoming.

摘要: A method performed by an Application Server (AS) node PCRM-AS for assisting a UE in restoring an association between an Internet protocol Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, node, and the UE via one or more first intermediate proxy nodes in a communications network is provided. When the AS node receives from the UE, a first registration relating to the association, monitor said association. The first registration registers the UE to an IMS network. The first registration comprises an identity identifying the UE and a Push Notification Service (PNS) node serving the UE. When any of the intermediate proxy nodes in the monitored association becomes unavailable, the AS node sends an instruction to the identified PNS node. The instruction instructs the PNS node to send a notification to the identified UE. The notification triggers the UE to restore the association between the IMS node and the UE via one or more available second intermediate proxy nodes.
