    摘要: Embodiments include a wood pellet burner unit with a sliding floor hopper. The wood pellet burner unit includes a wood pellet fire pit, a wood pellet kettle burner, a wood pellet barbeque burner, and/or a wood pellet smoker, or the like. The sliding floor hopper includes an upper loading section having an opening therein that receives wood pellets, and a staging section coupled to the upper loading section and stages the wood pellets received from the upper loading section. A sliding floor is disposed atop a staging surface of the staging section and through a slit in the staging section. The sliding floor oscillates between a forward position and a back position. The sliding floor oscillates between a forward position and a back position to automatically and periodically feed the wood pellets to a lower region of the wood pellet burner unit on a continuous basis.

In some embodiments, the fuel is moved between the steps of the floor by a gas, rather than by mechanical means, and the fuel is moved from an upper to a lower step as it is burned. In some embodiments, the steps are fixed steps having a layer of a refractory material.

    摘要: A three hopper charging installation for a shaft furnace includes a rotary distribution device for distributing bulk material in the furnace by rotating a distribution member about the furnace central axis and a first, a second and a third hopper arranged in parallel above the rotary distribution device and offset from the central axis. A sealing valve housing is arranged between the hoppers and the distribution device. It has a top part with a first, a second and a third inlet respectively communicating with the first, the second and the third hopper. A first, a second and a third sealing valve are provided in the top part. Each sealing valve includes a flap which is pivotable between a closed sealing position and an open parking position. The sealing valve housing also has a funnel shaped bottom part with an outlet communicating with the distribution device. According to the invention, the top part of the sealing valve housing has a tripartite stellate configuration in horizontal section with a central portion, in which the inlets are arranged adjacently in triangular relationship about the central axis, and with a first, a second and a third extension portion, each sealing valve being adapted such that its flap opens outwardly with respect to the central axis by pivoting into a parking position located in the first, second or third extension portion respectively.

    摘要: An incinerator pre-fill chamber for installation on an incinerator for burning combustible material which allows the operator to continuously re-fill the container of the incinerator with new combustible material while the contents within the container is burning. The incinerator pre-fill chamber includes an elongated case having a first opening aligned in sealing relationship with a second opening disposed in the lid of the incinerator such that when said pre-fill chamber is mounted on the incinerator lid the combustible material can pass from said pre-fill chamber through said first and second openings. The pre-fill chamber further includes a plunger with a platen, at least one side door that opens for loading the material to be burned into the pre-fill chamber, and a trap door that opens when the plunger is actuated thereby permitting the material to pass through the first opening of the pre-fill chamber.
