    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a flue gas exhaust system for an industrial furnace, especially a steam reforming furnace. The flue gas exhaust system comprises a stack having an inlet opening for introducing flue gas into the stack and an outlet opening for exhausting flue gas. The inlet opening of the stack is in fluid connection to an outlet of a heat recovery system of the industrial furnace. Further, the fluid connection between said heat recovery system outlet and said stack inlet opening comprises a transition flue gas duct that at least partly embraces a part of the stack.

    摘要: A hot water supply system includes: a casing 1 having an opening in a front face; a front panel 2 covering the front face of the casing; and a console box 7 attached to the casing. The front panel has a window into which the console box is to be fitted. The clearance between the window and the console box is eliminated to improve the appearance of the system, and it is provided that the front panel can be attached to the casing without problems. In order to eliminate the clearance between the window 20 and the console box 7, the window 20 has a size enough for the console box 7 to be tightly fitted therein. In order that the console box 7 fitted in the window 20 can move vertically and horizontally together with the front panel 2, a support plate 8 for the console box 7 is attached to the casing 1 with a vertical and a horizontal play.

    摘要: A tank structure of a hot-water supply unit capable of permitting tap water under a high pressure to be supplied thereto without using any safety mechanism. An inner barrel of a tank body is formed by rounding or bending a flat plate of an increased thickness by rolling and then joining both lateral ends of the plate to each other by welding. The inner barrel and an outer barrel are joined together through a joint ring of a thickness between a thickness of the inner barrel and that of the outer barrel. Thus, the tank body can be readily manufactured using any specific equipment.

    摘要: An electric water heater tank defines a water chamber having an electrical component extending outwardly of the outer surface of the tank. A spaced outer jacket surrounds the tank and has a opening affording access to the component. A protective dam in the opening bridges the gap between the tank and jacket in surrounding relationship to the component and is covered by a cap extending over the component and engaging the dam. Electrical wires connected to the component extend outwardly of the jacket between the cap and dam. A door covers the cap and dam and is secured to the jacket such that the door engages the cap to force the dam into sealing engagement with the jacket and tank. Foam thermal insulation material fills the space between the jacket and the outer surface of the tank.

    摘要: A water heater comprising a tank for holding water, a jacket surrounding the tank, foam insulation between the tank and the jacket, a heating element for heating water in the tank, and a thermostat mounted on the tank for controlling the heating element in response to the temperature of water in the tank. The thermostat includes electrically active terminals, leadwires connected to the terminals, an electric circuit reset, and a temperature adjustment dial. The water heater also comprises a protective shield for covering the terminal and preventing foam contact with the terminal. The shield includes a face portion covering the thermostat in spaced relation to the tank. The face portion comprises a first access port for providing operator access to the circuit reset cutoff, and a second access port spaced from the first access port for providing operator access to the temperature adjustment dial. The shield also includes sidewall portions extending between the face portion and the tank. Each sidewall portion has a rearward tapered surface sealingly engaging the tank, and a leadwire access port which provides an opening for routing a leadwire and which provides strain relief for the leadwire.

    摘要: A liner for a primary vessel comprises a plurality of attached, corrugated continuous sheets of membrane-type material. Each sheet has a herringbone pattern of repetitive parallelogram-like elements. Each parallelogram-like element is bounded at its four sides by bends to adjacent parallelogram-like elements, each sheet having minimally developed corrugations. The continuous sheets are therefore supportable by bearing walls of the primary vessel and may follow any deflections of these walls under conditions of structural stress and thermal deformation.

    摘要: An attachment arrangement for attaching a boiler casing to a membrane tube wall utilizes an extension plate which is connected to and extends beyond an edge of the casing. The extension plate and the surface of the casing adjacent its edge define an attachment area which is attached to the tube wall. A slot extends in the casing and through part of the extension plate. The slot is covered by an expansion element having a termination covering the end of the slot. The termination is on the extension plate. The termination of the expansion element extending over the extension plate provides compensation for expansion in the attachment area which avoids deformation and tearing of the casing in this area.
