摘要： An insertion system for an intraocular lens having a deformable optical portion and at least one loop-shaped support portion for supporting the optical portion within an eye includes a holding member for holding the intraocular lens at a standby position in a state in which no stress acts on the optical portion of the lens; a deforming member for deforming the lens to a reduced size; an insertion tube through which the deformed lens is inserted into the eye; a pusher mechanism having a push rod for pushing and inserting the lens into the eye; and a lens moving mechanism for moving the lens from the standby position to an insertion position at which the pusher mechanism can push and insert the lens into the eye. The tip end of the push rod is located between the optical portion and the support portion of the lens held at the standby position by the holding means, as viewed perpendicular to a plane along which the optical portion extends.

摘要： An insertion device for an intraocular lens includes a lens-holding section having a cavity for accommodating an intraocular lens, a deforming section for deforming the lens to a reduced size, an insertion tube through which the deformed lens is inserted into an eye, a pusher mechanism for pushing and inserting the lens into the eye, and a lens-moving mechanism for moving the lens from a standby position to an insertion position at which the pusher mechanism can push and insert the lens into the eye. A lubricant is injected into the interior of the insertion tube and/or the cavity of the lens-holding section for smooth insertion of the lens. The insertion device has an indicating mark for indicating quantity of the injected lubricant. Further, the insertion device includes an erroneous operation prevention member for preventing accidental operation of the lens-moving mechanism.

摘要： The present invention is concerned with methods and equipment for the treatment of the eye and more particularly with an instrument to increase eye filtration and treat glaucoma. The instrument is surgical tool operated entirely by the surgeon's hands and is composed of a hand-piece and an eye-penetrating intraocular segment each having two opponent and reciprocally operating fork-like arms and blade-sharp leaves, respectively. The eye-penetrating segment is a rigid embodiment of a size to create a limbus-pointing tunnel in the cornea, penetrate the eye of a patient through a water tight incision and, in a five step dissect and extract procedure, remove from within the eye a trabecular tissue block leaving the incision to self-seal by intraocular pressure. In the same nullmodus operandinull, a sample tissue can be extracted from any other hollowed or parenchimatous organ.

摘要： A multi-size cap is capable of fitting head sizes of most wearers. Its crown is formed by multiple woven fabrics with high extensibility. An elastic band with high extensibility is sewn to the lower edge of the woven fabrics of the multi-size cap in some embodiments. Because the elastic band is partly exposed outside, the cap is capable of fitting wearers having different head sizes with comfort, and may be suitable for more than 95 percent of potential wearers. The cap eliminates the inconvenience of adjusting the cap and reduces the cost of manufacture. Other embodiments stitch the band to the lowermost extremity of the crown with band overlapping the crown.
