    摘要： A transmission wire connector, and a kit of parts for assembling such a transmission wire connector, is provided. The transmission wire connector, and a kit of parts, includes a first wire contact member and a second wire contact member mounted in bores in a base unit wherein the first and second contact members contact an exchange linked wire and a consumer linked wire respectively. The first and second wire contacts within the base unit are isolated from one another. A separable module unit cable of coupling with the base unit and providing direct or indirect electrical connection between the first and second contacts when the module unit is coupled to the base unit is also provided. The separable module unit is one of a plurality of such module units arranged to provide different functions to the connector or wire it connects. The connector may also include actuators for forcing the contacts and wires into an insulation displacement relationship.

    摘要： An automatic rearrangement and distribution device for telecommunication and data lines with connection terminals for exchange office and subscriber lines and a remote controllable connection device having a gripping element. To automate a re-arrangement and distribution device provided with connection blocks, the connection terminals are disposed in connection blocks radially directed relative to a central axis. The connection device is swingable in central axis, and a gripping element is disposed radially displaceably at the connection device. For connecting the rearrangement and distribution device to copper cables as well as to fiber-glass cables, without modifications being required, the control paths at blocks for fiber-glass and for copper cable applications have identical lengths.

It comprises a partially buried cabinet or container constructed of multi layered materials, defining a bottom having a sloping floor for draining water to a trough, upstanding sidewalls and a top or roof. In addition, above the bottom and protruding from one of the sidewalls, there is an extending cowling sized to define a door opening which is positioned above the support ground. At the opposite end of the structure, there is an appended cabinet portion having internally located frame members for support of cables extending through openings into the housing so that conductor pairs can be serviced. Equipment is placed in the interior supported on bottom mounted runners and upstanding frame members.

    摘要： An index strip has alternately peaked and flat indexing teeth which are of assistance in splitting conductor pairs of a first plurality of conductors which are received in slots formed between adjacent ones of the teeth. The conductors are retained in the slots prior to assembly of a connector module with the index strip. The connector module is comprised of mating portions and includes a plurality of double-ended, contact elements. The mating portions are designed for reliable permanent assembly while securing the contact elements therein against unintended lateral and longitudinal movement. The contact elements make electrical engagement with associated ones of the conductors in the index strip when the connector module is mounted to the index strip. Depending on service requirements, a connector module having the same conductor capacity as the index strip may be used. The teeth in the index strip are arranged in groups with end ones of the groups specially designed to permit mounted of connector modules having the same length as one or more of the groups in the index strip. A bridging module may be mounted at selected locations along a connector module having the same length as one or more groups of the index strip or the bridging connector may extend along the entire length of the connector module.
