    摘要: A positional control device is provided to prevent accidental drifting of an overhead sectional door upward or downward from a fully opened, partly opened or fully closed position. The device allows the door to be manually moved to a different elevation without requiring a separate operation to release the door from its original position. This is achieved by a mechanism which couples the upward and downward motion of the door to the rotation of a sprocket wheel engaged with a spring loaded ratchet arm with a bifurcated head specially shaped for ratcheting engagement with the teeth of the sprocket wheel. Suitable adjustment of the spring allows the ratchet mechanism to hold the door in its given position by exerting a force which can readily be overcome by manual raising or lowering the door to a different position.

The apparatus generally includes a bracket that may be secured to the jamb behind a strike plate using the same screws, bolts or nails that secure the strike plate to the jamb. The apparatus further includes a barrier that selectively bars or prevents the pivotal movement of the closed door or window.

    摘要: A door-latching system for a sectional door with multiple door panels helps hold the door at its fully open position in case the door's counterweight torsion spring fails to do so. The door-latching system includes a latch assembly that moves between a maintained release position and a door-blocking position. In the door-blocking position, the latch assembly helps hold the door open by providing an obstruction to the door panels. In the maintained release position, the latch assembly allows the door to move freely between open and closed positions without the door-latching system clacking as the door panels or their guide rollers travel past the latch assembly. Movement of the door panels automatically shifts the latch assembly from its release position to its door-blocking position, and manual actuation returns the latch assembly back to its release position. The latch assembly is especially suited for mounting to a track that guides the movement of the door panels.

    摘要: A vehicle door stop safety system for preventing closing of a door of a vehicle when an object moves between the open door and the body of the vehicle. The vehicle door stop safety system includes a field producing assembly for producing a field adjacent to the latch end of the door. The field producing assembly is mountable on the latch end of the door, and the field producing assembly is adapted for operatively connecting to the switch of the vehicle such that the field producing assembly produces the field when the switch is actuated by opening of the door. A sensing assembly produces a block signal when an interruption of the field is sensed. The sensing assembly is mountable on the latch end of the door of the vehicle. A blocking assembly is provided for blocking closure of the door when the sensing assembly detects an interruption of the field produced by the field producing assembly. The blocking assembly is mountable on the body of the vehicle adjacent to the door opening. A controller assembly is provided for actuating the blocking assembly upon sensing by the sensing assembly of an interruption of the field produced by the field producing assembly. The controller assembly is connected to the sensing assembly and the blocking assembly.

    摘要: Fitting for a door, window or the like comprising locking elements provided with at least one operating rod allowing the actuation of a mechanism for locking the leaf in rotation, in various angular positions, with respect to the sash-frame. This mechanism is composed of at least a clamping element and an additional member, one of which is made integral with an extension of the operating rod and the other one with the sash-frame. The clamping element and the additional member of the actuation mechanism are located on the rotation axis of the leaf, each comprising slits intended for co-operating with each other when actuating the locking elements. The clamping element further comprising connecting members intended for making same integral with either the sash-frame or the operating rod and with respect to which it can move with a stroke of a length at least equal to the height of its slits. The clamping element also includes a springy pull-off mechanism intended for pushing same back in the direction of the additional member, with the additional member being capable of pivoting about the rotation axis and comprising braking members allowing this pivoting only upon application of a varying intensity driving torque.

    摘要: A safety braking device (1) for doors, which is arranged between a door board (21) and a permanent seat (22) of the door board, comprises a seat body (11) and a one-way locking mechanism. The seat body (11) is arranged in the door board (21). The one-way locking mechanism comprises a lock position element (12) and a connecting rod element (13). The lock position element (12) is arranged in the seat body (11) and can be switched between a locked position and an unlocked position. One end of the connecting rod element (13) is fixed onto the permanent seat (22) of the door board, and the other end thereof extends into the seat body (11) and corresponds to the lock position element (12). When at the locked position, the lock position element (12) as well as the seat body (11) cannot move in a first direction (91) with respect to the connecting rod element (13), and thereof the door board (21) cannot be opened and can only be closed; and only when the lock position element (12) is at the unlocked position can the door board (21) be opened or closed.
