摘要： A paint applicator configured for use in combination with a hollow-core paint roller cover includes a handle and a pair of pivot arms extending therefrom. Each pivot arm includes a proximate end rotatably mounted to the handle and an opposite, distal end to which is pivotably mounted a hub assembly. A pivot arm actuator is cooperatively linked to the pivot arms such that movement of the actuator in a first direction causes the pivot arms to rotate toward one another and movement of the actuator in a second direction causes the pivot arms to rotate away from one another. Each hub assembly includes a rotatable hub with an outer surface configured to frictionally engage the inside surface of the roller cover such that, when the pivot arms are rotated toward one another, the hubs enter and retain the roller between the pivot arms.

摘要： An epoxy and paint roller is disclosed. The present invention includes an elongated handle having a distal end and a working end. The working end is pivotally attached to a roller support having a roller rotatably attached thereto. In one embodiment, the working end includes a knuckle joint that is aligned with a closed loop that is centrally disposed on the roller support so as to receive a fastener therethrough. The handle can be pivoted from one side of the roller to the opposite side thereof so that the handle is substantially parallel to the roller support. Alternatively, the handle can be positioned perpendicular to the roller support so that the present epoxy and paint roller can be used in a usual manner.

摘要： A paint roller frame includes a handle having a radial bore and a wire shank having an outer end for rotatably supporting a paint roller cover and an inner end rotatably received in the bore. The outer end of the wire shank extends at an angle relative to the inner end whereby turning movement of the inner end within the bore will cause a change in the orientation of the outer end and thus the paint roller cover supported thereby relative to the handle. Between the inner and outer ends of the wire shank is an intermediate portion including a radial leg extending at a right angle relative to the inner end which is spring biased into engagement with any one of a plurality of notches in an end wall of the handle surrounding the bore for retaining the outer end of the wire shank in any one of a plurality of different orientations relative to the handle. A pushing force applied to a button or the innermost end of the wire shank will cause the radial leg of the intermediate portion to move out of engagement with any one of the notches thus permitting the inner end of the wire shank to be turned within the bore to change the orientation of the outer end relative to the handle.

摘要： A painting tool, with an internal paint reservoir that feeds paint to a roller in a relatively continuous fashion, is manipulated through an adjustable handle. The roller housing includes a pair of brackets defining a convex surface. The handle telescopically passes through the convex surface and is encircled by a ring which threads about the handle. The ring is cammed to move towards and away from the spherical surface on the roller housing, when the ring is rotated. Since the ring includes a concave surface, the translation of the ring with respect to the convex surface on the roller enables locking engagement to be attained between the handle and the roller housing. In this way the handle may be selectively fixed with respect to the roller in one of a plurality of relative angular orientations to facilitate painting. The roller housing may include a pair of rollers in fluid communication with one another and with the paint reservoir, such that paint, fed from the reservoir to a first roller, is transferred to the rotating second roller and then to the surface to be painted. The first roller includes a pair of end portions sized to sealingly abut with the roller housing and an intermediate portion of somewhat smaller diameter for transferring paint to the second roller. For this purpose, the intermediate portion may include a plurality of outwardly directed ribs or raised portions which carry the paint received from the reservoir onto the second roller.
