Example instructions cause a machine to generate a traffic profile to reduce a computational burden of identifying streaming media being presented on a media presentation device, the traffic profile including first network traffic data indicative of the streaming media; obtain the traffic profile and second network traffic data corresponding to the streaming media; and generate, in response to a score for the second network traffic data meeting a threshold of similarity, a network traffic analysis report identifying the streaming media being presented on the media presentation device.

摘要： Example apparatus disclosed herein are to obtain, from a network monitor, an address associated with one or more network communications used to convey a media stream to a first input device of a plurality of input devices in communication with a media device, query one or more data structures based on the address to identify a first input source of the media device, the one or more data structures to map respective ones of the plurality of input devices to corresponding ones of a plurality of input sources of the media device, the plurality of input sources including the first input source, obtain a watermark from a meter that is to monitor an output of the media device, and identify the first input source of the media device as associated with media presented by the media device in response to determination that the watermark corresponds to the media stream.

The example disclosed herein further includes an interval timer to control a length of time that the control frames are captured before calculating the virtual bandwidth. The example disclosed herein further includes a virtual bandwidth calculator to calculate the virtual bandwidth after the length of time, the virtual bandwidth calculated by dividing an average bitrate from the control frames by the length of time.

An example apparatus includes a first communication radio to collect records of network traffic on a communication network and a second communication radio to transmit the records identifying a portion of the network traffic to an audience measurement entity. The example apparatus further includes a MAC address determiner to determine the MAC address of the second communication radio and a record filter to remove the network communication associated with the MAC address from the records.
