    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to: a communication technique for converging an IoT technology and a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond a 4G system; and a system therefor. The present disclosure can be applied to an intelligent service (for example, a smart home, a smart building, a smart city, a smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety-related service, etc.) on the basis of a 5G communication technology and an IoT-related technology. The present invention relates to a method for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) configuration information from a base station; and transmitting, to the base station, UCI in a PUCCH to which PUCCH format 1 has been applied on the basis of the PUCCH configuration information, wherein the PUCCH configuration information contains spreading code index information, and the spreading code index information is determined on the basis of the length of a spreading code to be applied to symbols through which the UCI is to be transmitted, among symbols through which the PUCCH is to be transmitted.

The disclosure provides a method for, if an activated BWP is changed in a wireless communication system in which a BWP is configured and operated, effectively measuring and reporting a channel state of the changed BWP. The method performed by a terminal includes receiving, from a base station, configuration information including channel state information (CSI) resource configuration information; receiving, from the base station, DCI including CSI request information; performing a measurement based on CSI resource configuration information corresponding to an activated BWP, in case that the CSI request information is associated with a plurality of CSI resource configuration information; and reporting a result of the measurement.

    Abstract: A communication method and system for converging a 5G communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4G system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT) is disclosed. A method of a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving downlink control information (DCI) including frequency domain resource allocation information on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from a base station, identifying an allocated resource for transmitting or receiving data based on the frequency domain resource allocation information, and transmitting or receiving the data on the allocated resource. When the frequency domain resource allocation information is based on a first bandwidth part of a first bandwidth and the DCI is for a second bandwidth part corresponding to a second bandwidth, the allocated resource is identified by applying a scaling factor based on the first bandwidth and the second bandwidth.

    Abstract: Provided is a method of a terminal in a wireless communication system, including receiving DCI for scheduling PUSCH transmission; determining a number of modulation symbols per layer for transmission of UCI based on a number of code blocks associated with a UL-SCH, CUL-SCH, a value Kr for an r-th code block of the code blocks and a number of bits of the UCI, OACK, wherein in case that the DCI includes CBGTI and the CBGTI indicates that the r-th code block associated with the UL-SCH of the PUSCH transmission is not for transmission, the value Kr for the UCI is determined as 0, and else, the value Kr for the UCI is determined as a size of the r-th code block for the UL-SCH of the PUSCH transmission; and transmitting, to a base station, the UCI on the PUSCH based on the number of modulation symbols per layer.
