Abstract:
Method and apparatus for scheduling coordinated transmission in a wireless communication system are provided. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an apparatus for controlling resource utilization of a plurality of base stations comprises at least one transceiver configured to receive information about a buffer occupancy state from base stations performing a coordinated transmission, a processor configured to determine transmission states of the base stations based on the information about the buffer occupancy state. The at least one transceiver is further configured to transmit scheduling information comprising the transmission states.
Abstract:
A method for cooperative communication of electronic devices in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. The method includes the operations of predicting a resource level of each base station based on information received from a plurality of base stations, determining base stations having a resource level equal to or less than a set reference level among the plurality of base stations, configuring available resource information of the determined base stations as different values as the available resource information of the rest of the base stations, and transmitting the configured available resource information.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a cell configuration method of a base station in a mobile communication system supporting Carrier Aggregation (CA) which includes configuring a first cell consisting of at least two sectors formed with different antennas to a terminal, configuring a second cell consisting of at least two sectors formed with different antennas to the terminal, and communicating with the terminal through the first and second cells, wherein one of the first and second cells consists of sectors using same Physical Cell Identifier (PCID) and the other consists of sectors using different PCIDs.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for effectively determining a terminal which will transmit or receive packets in a packet-based wireless network are provided. The scheduling method of a base station of a wireless communication system includes determining a first status variable for an increment of whole network utility to data amount allocated to at least one terminal and a second status variable for an increment of the whole network utility to a scheduling chance allocated to the terminal, determining a scheduling metric based on the first and second status variables, and scheduling the at least one terminal based on the scheduling metric.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting data in a wireless communication system for supporting multi-cells formed of a plurality of sub-cells. The method includes the steps of: connecting at least one virtual transmission port to each of the plurality of sub-cells; determining the transmission mode for a terminal on the basis of channel states between at least two of the plurality of sub-cells and the terminal; and transmitting data for each sub-cell to the terminal through at least one virtual transmission port connected to a corresponding sub-cell on the basis of the determined transmission mode.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for determining channel quality in a wireless communication system. The method includes receiving Channel Quality Information (CQI) from a receiver; generating a channel quality reference value by correcting the received CQI using first resource use/nonuse information received from a scheduler that indicates whether an adjacent cell used resources at a previous time, and received signal power information measured in the adjacent cell; and determining a channel quality value at a current time using the generated channel quality reference value and second resource use/nonuse information received from the scheduler that indicates whether an adjacent cell uses resources at the current time.
