An electronic device including an electronic pen and a method of controlling a communication connection with the electronic pen is provided. The electronic device include a housing, a touch-screen display, a first wireless communication circuit, an extended recess disposed inside the housing, a first wireless charging circuit; an electronic pen including a second wireless communication circuit and a second wireless charging circuit electrically coupled to the first wireless charging circuit, a processor, and a memory. The memory stores instructions causing the processor to detect whether the electronic pen is inserted into the recess, charge the electronic pen through the first wireless charging circuit based on the detection, receive inherent information of the electronic pen through the first wireless communication circuit during or after the charging, and maintain or re-establish a communication connection with the electronic pen based on at least a portion of the received inherent information.

An electronic device is disclosed which includes a wireless communication circuit configured to support BLUETOOTH communication, a processor, and a memory. The electronic device may connect with a first external electronic device via a first link configured to communicate in units of time slots, connect with a second external electronic device via the second link, transmit first link information for estimation of a radio resource of the first link to the second external electronic device via the second link, change a radio resource of the second link using the first link information, and communicate with the second external electronic device via the second link using the changed radio resource. In addition to the above, various embodiments disclosed in the present disclosure are possible.

An electronic device and method are disclosed herein. The electronic device includes a communication module, a display, a memory and a processor which implements the method. The method includes receiving access point (AP) information from at least one AP through the communication module, generating an AP list including an AP communicatively connectable with the electronic device based on the received AP information, storing the AP list in the memory, identifying a state of the electronic device, determining an arrangement criterion for arranging a display order of Aps included in the AP list based on state information about the electronic device, and controlling the display to arrange the AP list according to the determined arrangement criterion.

The electronic device includes a communication module configured to support short-range wireless communication with an external device using a first band and a second band; a processor electrically connected to the communication module; and a memory electrically connected to the processor, wherein the memory, when executed, stores instructions to cause the processor to confirm at least one characteristic of a function and surrounding network environment information in response to a function performance request, and perform the function through one of the first band and the second band of the external device based on at least one of the characteristic of the function and the surrounding network environment information.

A method and apparatus for discovering a device without an access point (AP) to perform P2P communication in a wireless communication network includes: receiving a probe request frame from another P2P device; determining whether a message requesting at least one of a phone number and user identification information is included in the received probe request frame; and transmitting a probe response frame including at least one of the phone number and the user identification information to the another P2P device when the message is included in the probe request frame.

A communication connection control method is provided. The method includes collecting a wireless access point-related signal relating to a wireless environment of a wireless access point, determining whether the wireless access point-related signal is in a state having a value lower than or equal to a pre-configured value, performing a wireless communication performance evaluation of a system including a communication network connected to the wireless access point according to a result of the determining, and performing a control to deactivate a communication connection based on the wireless access point according to a result of the wireless communication performance evaluation.
