Abstract:
A method for recognizing a fingerprint in a portable terminal includes, if a touch input is sensed via a fingerprint scanning sensor, determining whether a touch input event is detected on an object displayed on a screen, deactivating a function corresponding to the detected touch input event on the object if the touch input event is sensed, and performing a function corresponding to the sensed touch input via the fingerprint scanning sensor. A portable terminal includes a display unit configured to display at least one object on a screen, a fingerprint scanning sensor configured to sense a touch input, and a processor configured to deactivate a function corresponding to the detected touch input event on the at least one object if the touch input is sensed, and to perform a function corresponding to the sensed touch event via the finger scanning sensor.
Abstract:
Provided is an electronic device. The electronic device may include a display, a fingerprint sensor provided in an area of the display, and at least one processor. The at least one processor may receive a user input for fingerprint registration, based on the user input, control the display to display a first user interface displaying information to guide a position for a touch input based on a position of the fingerprint sensor at a first position on the display, and based on receiving a first touch on the first user interface, control the display to display a second user interface indicating a degree of a fingerprint recognition related to the first touch.
Abstract:
Disclosed, according to various embodiments of the present invention, is an electronic device comprising: a housing comprising a cover glass and a rear cover facing the cover glass; a display comprising a first region and a second region connected to one end of the first region, and having a first state where the first region is exposed, via the cover glass, to the outside of the electronic device, and a second state where the first region and the second region are exposed, via the cover glass, to the outside of the electronic device; and a processor electrically connected to the display. The processor may be configured so as to control the outputting of content on the basis of the state of the display. In addition, various embodiments are possible as identified in the specification.

Abstract:
A touch sensitive device allows a touch-based manipulation for contents displayed thereon. In a method, the device receives a predefined input event when a content screen is displayed on a display unit, determines whether a closed curve is formed on the display unit by the input event, and crops a specific content region defined by the closed curve.
