Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a gate line, a data line, and a pixel at a crossing region of the gate line and the data line, a timing controller configured to generate a gate driving control signal, a data driving control signal, and a power control signal based on a display period corresponding to a time interval of frames, a gate driver configured to provide a gate signal to the pixel through the gate line based on the gate driving control signal, a data driver configured to provide a data signal to the pixel through the data line based on the data driving control signal, and a power supply configured to generate a power voltage to drive the pixel, and configured to adjust the power voltage based on the power control signal during the display period.

Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a scan driver configured to provide a scan signal to the pixels, and a data driver configured to provide a data signal to the pixels. The display also includes a power supply configured to provide first and second power voltages, respectively having first and second voltage levels, to the pixels, wherein the power supply is further configured to substantially periodically change the second voltage level, and wherein the second voltage level is less than the first voltage level. The display also includes a controller configured to control at least one of the scan driver, the data driver, and the power supply.
