Abstract: A display device includes a display panel having a display area and a bending region. The display panel includes a light emitting diode disposed in the display area. An encapsulation layer encapsulates the light emitting diode. A light-control pattern is disposed on the encapsulation layer. The light-control pattern includes a passivation layer and a flattening layer. The flattening layer extends from the display area to the bending region. A bending protection layer is disposed in the bending region. The bending protection layer is composed of a portion of the flattening layer in the bending region.

Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, a pixel, an encapsulation film, a sensing electrode, a pad, a connection wire, and an extension pattern. The substrate include a display area, a non-display area outside the display area, an additional area at a side of the non-display area, and a bending area defined in at least a portion of the additional area. The pixel is on the display area. The encapsulation film is on the pixel. The sensing electrode is on the encapsulation film. The pad is on the additional area. The connection wire is on the non-display area and is directly connected to the sensing electrode. The extension pattern directly connects the pad and the connection wire to each other. The extension pattern traverses the bending area.

Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including a display area, a non-display area, a first additional area connected to the non-display area at a first boundary, and a second additional area connected to the first additional area at a second boundary, pixels on the display area, an encapsulation film on the pixels, electrodes on the encapsulation film, pads on the second additional area, sensing wires connecting the electrodes and the pads, a first sensing insulating film on the encapsulation film, and a second sensing insulating film on the first sensing insulating film. The substrate includes a curved first side in the first additional area and the first additional area decreases in width from the first boundary to the second boundary, and a boundary of the first sensing insulating film is closer to the first side than a boundary of the second sensing insulating film is to the first side.

Abstract: A display device includes a base layer including a display area and first and second non-display areas, a circuit device layer on the base layer and including a driving circuit unit overlapping the first and second non-display areas, a power electrode outside the driving circuit unit, and a shielding electrode connected to the power electrode and through which first through-holes are defined, a light emitting device layer on the circuit device layer and including a second electrode and a connection electrode electrically connecting the power electrode to the second electrode and through which second through-holes are defined, a thin film encapsulation layer on the light emitting device layer, and a touch sensing layer on the thin film encapsulation layer. The first and second through-holes do not overlap each other in the first non-display area, and the first and second through-holes overlap each other in the second non-display area.
