    Abstract: A display device includes: a base substrate; a self-light emitting element on the base substrate; a thin film encapsulation layer on the self-light emitting element; a first sensing electrode on the thin film encapsulation layer and including an opening; a second sensing electrode on the thin film encapsulation layer and spaced apart from the first sensing electrode; a conductive pattern in the opening and spaced apart from the first sensing electrode; and a sensor controller configured to detect a change of a mutual capacitance between the first sensing electrode and the second sensing electrode in a first mode and configured to detect a change of a mutual capacitance between the conductive pattern and the first sensing electrode in a second mode different from the first mode.

    Abstract: A pressure sensor includes a first substrate and a second substrate; a first driving electrode and a second driving electrode disposed on a first surface of the first substrate facing the second substrate and coupled to a first coupling electrode, the second driving electrode being shorter than the first driving electrode; a first sensing electrode and a second sensing electrode disposed on the first surface of the first substrate and coupled to a second coupling electrode, the second sensing electrode being shorter than the first sensing electrode; a first pressure sensing layer disposed on a first surface of the second substrate in a position facing the first substrate and overlapping and spaced from the first driving electrode and the first sensing electrode by a gap; and a second pressure sensing layer contacting with the second driving electrode and the second sensing electrode and electrically coupling the second driving electrode and the second sensing electrode to each other.

    Abstract: A touch sensor includes a substrate, a touch input unit, a plurality of wires, and a pad unit. The touch input unit is disposed on the substrate and includes a plurality of sensing electrodes for sensing user touch. The pad unit includes a plurality of pads electrically connected to the sensing electrodes through the wires. The pads include a first pad. The first pad includes a first conductive film disposed on the substrate, an insulating film disposed on the first conductive film, and a second conductive film disposed on the insulating film. The insulating film includes a plurality of first-type holes and a plurality of second-type holes. Each first-type hole of the first-type holes is smaller than each second-type hole of the second-type holes.

    Abstract: A display device includes a touch screen panel folded based on a folding axis, and at least one touch electrode on the folding axis. Each of the touch electrodes on the folding axis may include a graphene layer, a metal mesh layer, and an adhesion metal mesh layer. The grapheme layer may be along the folding axis on a transparent substrate. The first metal mesh layer may be on the transparent substrate to adhere to a lateral surface of the first graphene layer. The first adhesion metal mesh layer may be on a boundary portion between the first graphene layer and the first metal mesh layer.

    Abstract: A touch sensor including: a touch sensing area including driving electrodes and sensing electrodes; a driving signal generator which determines phases of driving signals based on a reference code and supplies the driving signals to the sensing electrodes, wherein the driving signals are sine waves; and a touch processor which receives sensing signals according to the driving signals from the sensing electrodes and determines a touch position based on the sensing signals and the reference code, wherein the driving signal generator controls the phases of the driving signals by updating the reference code at a predetermined time point.
