    Abstract: Provided is a headphone device including a housing, an audio input unit that is arranged to be separated from the housing and collects audio to generate an audio signal, a holding unit that abuts on a cavum concha or an inner wall of an ear canal of a user and holds the audio input unit in a space closer to an eardrum side than a tragus, in a state of being worn by the user, a wired connection unit that connects the housing and the audio input unit in a wired manner, a signal processing unit that generates a noise cancellation signal for an external sound based on the audio signal generated by the audio input unit, and generates an output signal based on the generated noise cancellation signal, and an audio output unit that outputs audio based on the output signal.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus and method capable of performing compensation to achieve a standard sound regardless of a recording environment. The microphone picks up sound from a sound source and inputs the sound to a recording apparatus as an analog audio signal. The recording apparatus is an apparatus that performs binaural recording and generates an audio file of a sound obtained by binaural recording. The recording apparatus adds metadata related to a recording environment of binaural content to the audio file generated by binaural recording and transmits the file with the metadata to a reproducing apparatus. The present disclosure is applicable to a recording/reproducing system that performs binaural recording and reproduction of the sound, for example.

    Abstract: A signal processing apparatus includes a signal processor configured to: generate a first noise reduction signal using an adaptive filter based on a signal output from a first input apparatus, and cause the generated first noise reduction signal to be output by a first output apparatus; and generate a second noise reduction signal using a feedback filter based on a signal output from a second input apparatus, and cause the generated second noise reduction signal to be output by a second output apparatus. The feedback filter has a fixed feedback coefficient. The first input apparatus is located at a first noise-cancellation target location in an environment, and the second input apparatus is located at a second noise-cancellation target location in the environment, which may be different from the first noise-cancellation target location.

    Abstract: [Object] To provide a sound processing device capable of effectively reducing ambient noise at low cost.[Solution] Provided is a sound processing device including: a first sound collector configured to collect a first noise signal from a noise source of noise leaking into a casing mounted to a user's ear; a first signal processing unit configured to form a first noise reduction signal used to reduce noise at a cancellation point on the basis of the first noise signal; a second signal processing unit configured to form a second noise reduction signal used to reduce noise at a cancellation point with respect to a first pseudo noise signal; an adder configured to add the first noise reduction signal and the second noise reduction signal; and a sound emitter configured to emit an output of the adder into the casing as sound. The first pseudo noise signal is a signal obtained by subtracting an output of the adder applied with a simulation transfer characteristic from an output of the first sound collector, the simulation transfer characteristic being obtained by simulating a transfer characteristic from the sound emitter to the first sound collector.

[Solution] Provided is a signal processing apparatus including: a characteristics difference calculating unit configured to calculate a difference between reproduction target characteristics of a first sound signal and characteristics of a second sound signal obtained by collecting, at a microphone provided inside a headphone, sound output from a driver which outputs the sound based on a third sound signal obtained by performing signal processing on the first sound signal; and a sound signal processing unit configured to select a parameter to be used at the signal processing based on the difference calculated by the characteristics difference calculating unit, and perform signal processing on the first sound signal.
