Abstract: An ink jet printing apparatus includes a printing head that has a nozzle face and a nozzle having an ejection opening defined in the nozzle face and through which an ink composition is ejected, and a pressure cleaning mechanism configured to apply a pressure to an interior of the printing head to discharge the ink composition from the nozzle for cleaning. The ink composition contains resin particles having a glass transition temperature of −30° C. to 50° C., an organic solvent having a normal boiling point of 280° C. or more, at least one of organic and inorganic alkalis, and at least one of betaines and polyhydric alcohols being solid at room temperature.

Abstract: A liquid discharge apparatus of the present disclosure includes an ink composition and a liquid discharge section including a nozzle for discharging the ink composition. The ink composition is a pigment textile printing ink composition containing resin particles, water, and an organic solvent. The resin particles have a glass transition temperature of 5° C. or less and are contained in an amount of 6.5 mass % or more based on the total amount of the ink composition. The ink composition contains a polyhydric alcohol having a boiling point of 270° C. or more as the organic solvent in an amount of 15.0 mass % or less based on the total amount of the ink composition. The liquid discharge section includes a pressure chamber and a circulation passage for circulating the ink composition in the pressure chamber.

Abstract: A drying apparatus includes a drying chamber configured to be connected to a decompression section, and a moving section configured to move a target object in the interior of the drying chamber. With this structure, the pressure in the interior of the drying chamber can be reduced and the target object can be dried in the interior of the drying chamber, and thereby the drying efficiency of the target object can be increased.
