    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing data traffic in restricted target wake time (TWT) service periods (SPs). In some aspects, an access point (AP) may transmit a packet, at the beginning of a restricted TWT SP, that signals all non-member wireless stations (STAs) to defer access to the wireless medium for at least a threshold duration. Upon receiving the packet, any non-member STAs that are associated with the AP may set their network allocation vectors (NAVs) according to the duration indicated by a duration field of the received packet. In some implementations, low-latency STAs that are members of the TWT SP may not set their NAVs according to the duration field of the received packet. Instead, the low-latency STAs may access the wireless medium before the NAVs associated with the non-member STAs expire.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for signaling mechanisms for multi-hop channel sounding for relay operation. Some aspects more specifically relate to frame addressing and transmission opportunity (TXOP) or service period (SP) sharing to facilitate a multi-hop channel sounding within a single TXOP or SP. An originating device may transmit a first frame indicating identifying information corresponding to multiple other wireless communication devices to initiate a multi-hop channel sounding involving the multiple other wireless communication devices. For example, the originating device may include, in the first frame, identifying information corresponding to a satellite access point (AP) and identifying information corresponding to an end device with which the originating device may communicate via the satellite AP. In accordance with the multi-hop channel sounding, the originating device may receive, collectively via one or more frames, channel information associated with each hop between the originating device and the end device.

    Abstract: In some implementations, a first access point (AP) selects one or more other APs for participation with the first AP in a coordinated access point transmission session. The first AP obtains a transmission opportunity (TXOP), and transmits a frame indicating scheduling information for uplink (UL) or downlink (DL) transmissions to or from the selected APs, the scheduling information indicating a respective start time for the UL or DL transmissions to or from the selected APs, at least two of the start times being offset from one another by a time period associated with decoding a preamble of a wireless packet. The first AP transmits or receives wireless packets to or from one or more associated stations (STAs) at least partially concurrently with the transmission or reception of wireless packets by the selected APs to or from their respective associated STAs based on the scheduling information.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless communication device may determine a first set of parameters for communicating with a second wireless communication device within a first set of time intervals, the first set of parameters associated with a beamforming procedure. The first wireless communication device may predict, based on inputting the first set of parameters to a machine learning model, a second set of parameters corresponding to a second set of time intervals in the future after the first set of time intervals. The first wireless communication device may select a beamforming configuration for communications between the first wireless communication device and the second wireless communication device based on the second set of parameters, and may communicate with the second wireless communication device within the second set of time intervals in accordance with the beamforming configuration.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods and devices for introducing a power save protocol (for example, a lower power mode) for a multi-link devices (MLDs). Some aspects more specifically relate to reducing power consumption in an access point (AP) MLD, and more particularly, to a power save protocol (or a lower power mode) for an AP MLD. In some aspects, an AP MLD may initiate a lower power mode to save power for as long as possible while still maintaining minimal receive (RX) and transmit (TX) functionality. When requested by an associated station (STA), the AP MLD may then transition from the lower power mode to a higher power mode with full RX and TX functionality with a minimal delay. The described techniques may also account for trade-offs and constraints which arise due to different use cases and scenarios as well as different device configurations.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for managing data traffic in restricted target wake time (TWT) service periods (SPs). In some aspects, an access point (AP) receives a request frame from a wireless station (STA) associated with a client device via a peer-to-peer (P2P) link, the request frame indicating that the STA intends to exchange P2P communications with the client device during a r-TWT SP scheduled on a wireless medium. The AP obtains a transmission opportunity (TXOP) on the wireless medium during the r-TWT SP, the request frame identifying the client device. The AP transmits a trigger frame on the wireless medium responsive to obtaining the TXOP, the trigger frame allocating a portion of the obtained TXOP for P2P communications between the STA and the client device, wherein at least one of the response frame or the trigger frame indicates a Network Allocation Vector (NAV) exception for the client device.
