Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Some aspects relate generally to measurement gaps and to a user equipment (UE) transmitting assistance information for measurement gaps. In some aspects, the assistance information may facilitate an activation or a deactivation of one or more measurement gap occasions. In some aspects, the assistance information may indicate one or more conditions associated with configured measurement gap occasions. In some aspects, the assistance information may include, or may be included in, status information for the UE, such as a buffer status report or a delay status report, among other examples. In some aspects, the UE may be configured with a delay factor for measurement gaps.

Abstract: Techniques for wireless communication at a communication device are described. The communication device may be a user equipment (UE) configured to transmit, to a base station, signaling indicating UE capability information. The UE may receive, from the base station, control signaling indicating a measurement gap sequence configuration based on the UE capability information. The UE may determine a measurement gap occasion based on the measurement gap sequence configuration. The measurement gap occasion may include one or more of a first measurement gap occasion associated with a first measurement gap sequence, a second measurement gap occasion associated with a second measurement gap sequence, or a combination of the first measurement gap occasion and the second measurement gap occasion. The UE may perform a set of channel measurements during the determined measurement gap occasion.

Abstract: A mobile device can report its capabilities to a network node regarding one or more phase characteristics between Sounding Resource Signal (SRS) resources transmitted by the mobile device under one or more circumstances, enabling the network to configure the mobile device accordingly. Such reporting can enable the network to coherently process multiple SRS resources, effectively increasing the bandwidth of the SRS resources and, ultimately, the accuracy of a position determination for the mobile device. Various techniques are provided for reporting capabilities and determining applicable conditions.

Abstract: A multi-SIM user equipment (UE) can perform link failure operations associated with a first universal subscriber identity module (USIM) in an active state during a time gap when the UE can perform a network operation on a second USIM in a non-active state. The UE can monitor a failure event associated with the first USIM using a first procedure. The failure event includes a radio link failure, a beam failure, and/or a listen-before-talk (LBT) failure. The UE can transmit a request to a network entity for a time gap to perform a network operation associated with the second USIM, while the first USIM remains in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state during the time gap. The UE can monitor, using a second procedure during the time gap, the failure event associated with the first USIM.

Abstract: Techniques and apparatus for intra-frequency measurement of Layer 3 (L3)-based channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs) are described. An example method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting an indication based on a UE capability to simultaneously receive downlink data from a serving cell on one or more first resources and measure one or more CSI-RSs from a target cell on one or more second resources. The one or more first resources at least partially overlap the one or more second resources in a time domain and a frequency domain. The method also includes performing a CSI-RS measurement procedure, based on the UE capability.
