Abstract:
A wireless device for wireless communication is configured to determine a schedule in association with one or more wake times. In addition, the wireless device is configured to determine a lifetime in association with the determined schedule. The lifetime indicates at least one of when the determined schedule associated with the one or more wake times will expire, a validity time associated with the determined schedule, or a boundary associated with the schedule. Further, the wireless device is configured to transmit to one or more wireless devices information indicating the determined schedule associated with the one or more wake times and information indicating the determined lifetime associated with the determined schedule.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus is configured to determine a multicast schedule for communicating data associated with a service over an NDL and to transmit the multicast schedule to at least one other wireless device.
Abstract:
Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for numerology and frames for neighbor aware networks (NAN) in the sub-1 GHz (S1G) band. According to certain aspects, an apparatus for wireless communications is provided. The apparatus generally includes a processing system configured to: determine occurrence of a first type of discovery window for a network that occurs according to a first interval, and determine occurrence of a second type of discovery window for the that occurs according to a second interval shorter than the first interval; and a first interface is configured to output, for transmission in the network, at least one of time synchronization information or service information during at least one of the first type of discovery window or the second type of discovery window.
Abstract:
A method of communication includes exchanging, at a first device, a negotiation message with a second device. The method also includes determining, at the first device, whether to send a traffic message during a neighbor aware network (NAN) data link (NDL) time block based on the negotiation message.
Abstract:
In some examples, a method includes generating, at a first device, a paging message including an indication of whether the first device is available for a particular time period during which devices of a data link group of a neighbor aware network (NAN) are configured to operate in an active operating mode. The method also includes sending the message from the first device to one or more devices of the data link group of the NAN.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to multi-link communications in wireless communication networks. Some aspects more specifically relate to conflict mitigation techniques for enhanced multi-link single-radio (EMLSR) links between multi-link devices. In some examples, an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) and a non-AP MLD may communicate via two enhanced multi-link single-radio (EMLSR) links, one of which may be an anchor link of the non-AP MLD. In some examples, the non-AP MLD may maintain a beacon drop count representing a number of beacons that it has dropped on its anchor link since its last successful receipt of a beacon. In some examples, when the beacon drop count satisfies a beacon drop threshold, the non-AP MLD may transmit a packet on the non-anchor link to initiate a communication pause for the non-anchor link, so that it can receive a beacon on the anchor link.
Abstract:
Aspects of the present disclosure provide mechanisms for conveying (critical) updates to a corresponding STA that is in an unassociated state. In some cases, a network entity may obtain an update during a communication session, such as a sensing measurement session. The network entity may then output a notification of the update to another wireless device. The network entity may also output the actual update itself.
Abstract:
This disclosure describes a power save mechanism for devices in a neighbor awareness networking (NAN) network. In some aspects, a NAN device is able to enter into a power save mode during a window agreed to between the NAN device and a NAN peer device. A NAN device transmits, to a NAN peer device, an indication that the wireless communication device is to enter a power save mode. For example, the NAN device may transmit a MAC packet with a more data (MD) bit set to 0. The NAN peer device may indicate that the NAN device is allowed to enter the power save mode by transmitting a MAC packet with the MD bit set to 0, or the NAN peer device may indicate that the wireless communication device is not to enter the power save mode by transmitting a MAC packet with the MD bit set to 1.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications at a first wireless node generally including generating a first frame associated with a timestamp, outputting the first frame, for transmission to a second wireless node, as part of a ranging procedure, and outputting, for transmission, signaling comprising information regarding a transmit impulse response of the first frame.
Abstract:
In some implementations, an initiator device establishes a measurement session with each of a plurality of responder devices based at least in part on their capabilities. The initiator device negotiates, with each of the responder devices, a respective set of one or more sensing parameters based at least in part on the capabilities of the initiator device and the capabilities of the respective responder device, the respective sets of sensing parameters associated with the responder devices being identified by a unique Measurement Setup identifier (ID). The initiator device performs one or more measurement instances with the responder devices based on the respective sets of sensing parameters, each measurement instance identified by a unique Measurement Instance ID and the respective Measurement Setup ID. The initiator device obtains, from each responder device, one or more measurement reports indicating channel state information (CSI) based on the one or more respective measurement instances.
