    Abstract: A plurality of scheduled entities, such as transmission reception points (TRPs), may each transmit at least one TRP-specific beam failure detection reference signal (BFD-RS) having a corresponding TRP identifier (ID) to a scheduled entity. The scheduled entity may be configured with at least one TRP-specific medium access control (MAC) parameter. The scheduled entity may receive the TRP-specific BFD-RSs and respective TRP IDs associated therewith. The scheduled entity may measure each BFD-RSs and count beam failure instances associated with each TRP ID. The scheduled entity may transmit a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) associated with the respective TRP ID in response to a predetermined quantity of respective TRP-specific BFD-RS measurements of at least one of the respective TRP-specific BFD-RSs being less than a predetermined value. A scheduling entity may receive the BFRQ, where the at least one TRP-specific MAC parameter was used to trigger the BFRQ.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling (e.g., from a network entity) indicating a CLI measurement resource and an associated transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state. The UE may generate and transmit a CLI report to the network entity using the CLI measurement resource and the beam associated with the indicated TCI state. In some cases, the control signaling may indicate to use the same TCI state as another dedicated downlink channel configured for the UE. In some cases, the control signaling may indicate a unified TCI state to apply for the CLI measurement. In some cases, a UE may be configured to communicate with multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs). The TCI state to apply to the CLI measurement may be based on the TRP scheduling the CLI measurement.

A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive a downlink control information (DCI) message including an indication to update a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state associated with a communications channel between the UE and a base station. In some examples, the indication may trigger the UE (e.g., implicitly or explicitly) to participate in a beam management procedure involving one or more beams associated with the TCI state.     Abstract: A first wireless device transmits one or more transmissions for a second wireless device to a repeater for repetition to the second wireless device; adjusts a repeater operation based on a phase noise in transmission between the first wireless device and the repeater; and communicates with at least one of the repeater or the second wireless device based on the adjusted repeater operation. The described techniques provide for training a beam for multiple component carriers (CCs) for concurrent communications in a wireless communications system associated with limited user equipment (UE) capabilities. In one example, a first user equipment (UE) identifies a trigger condition associated with a first communication link with a base station and establishes a second communication link with a second UE. The UE may transmit a relay request to the second UE based on the trigger condition, wherein the relay request instructs the second UE to relay communications for the first UE. The first UE communicates with the base station via the second communication link. In another example, a base station establishes communication links with a first and second UE. The base station receives a data forwarding request that instructs the base station to use the second UE to relay communications between it and the first UE.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Sidelink UEs may be configured with a synchronization reference signal that may be used by the UEs to synchronize time and frequency resources. A first and second UE may perform a beam sweeping procedure to identify transmit and receive beams to use for communications between the UEs. A synchronization reference signal procedure may be initiated and the first UE may receive a sidelink synchronization reference signal from the second UE using the established receive beam. The UEs may align time and frequency resources for communications between the UEs and the UEs may communicate via the sidelink channel based on the time synchronization, frequency synchronization, or both, determined using the sidelink synchronization signal. In some cases, a sidelink UE may receive multiple synchronization reference signals from multiple sidelink UEs simultaneously, where each synchronization reference signal may include a UE identifier.
