摘要: An evaluation device is provided and includes: a data acquisition unit which acquires input data input to a first learner of finishing learning that has undergone supervised learning using a data set including a pair of training data and correct answer data that indicates the correct answer of an inference result to the training data; and a validity evaluation unit which evaluates, based on an output obtained from a second learner of finishing learning that has undergone unsupervised learning using the training data by inputting the input data to the second learner, whether the valid output is able to be obtained from the first learner as the inference result to the input data when the input data is input to the first learner, the learning-finish second learner.

摘要: On a vehicle traveling on a downward slope, a driver's intentional checking is erroneously determined to be distracted driving, thus generating an alert. An apparatus includes an image data obtaining unit that obtains image data about a driver, a distracted driving determiner that determines distracted driving based on a face orientation and gaze of the driver captured in the image data and a determination criterion, a traveling state obtaining unit that obtains traveling state data about the vehicle, a traveling state determiner that determines whether the vehicle is traveling downward based on the traveling state data, and a criterion changer that changes, when the vehicle is determined to be traveling downward, the determination criterion for an upward face orientation and the gaze of the driver from a value used when the vehicle is determined not to be traveling downward.

摘要: An image processing device for performing a preprocessing of an image recognition process to an input image is provided, which includes: a generation element for generating a histogram of luminance values of the input image; a determination element for determining a reference value for the luminance values on the basis of the histogram, and determining a high luminance pixel that is a pixel having a luminance value greater than the reference value; and a conversion element for converting the luminance value of the high luminance pixel into a luminance value that is lower than or equal to the reference value. Thus, even when a high luminance region is present in the input image due to specularly reflected light or the like, high-accuracy character recognition can be performed.
