Abstract: A chip battery includes an element body including a solid electrolyte layer, a positive electrode layer, and a negative electrode layer. Current collectors are provided on the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer, respectively, of the element body using a conductive material, such as Pt. In addition, protective films are provided on both end surfaces of the element body and on the current collectors so that the current collectors are exposed near the respective ends in the longitudinal direction of the element body. Further, protective films are provided on the side surfaces of the element body to define a base body. Further, terminal electrodes are provided on the base body so as to be brought into surface contact with the exposed surfaces of the current collectors on both end sides in a direction substantially perpendicular to the lamination direction of the element body.

Abstract: In a webbing take-up device, an open portion is formed in the other side, in a direction about a rotational axis of a switch pawl, of a sensor holder. In a state where an engagement piece is positioned on the outside of the open portion, the switch pawl is rotated about a shaft to cause the engagement piece to enter in a window portion, so, a distal end of the engagement piece, bent in a hook shape, faces to a regulation wall in an axial direction of the shaft. It is not necessary to elastically deform the engagement piece when bringing the regulation wall and the engagement piece into facing. Therefore, the engagement allowance in the engagement piece with the regulation wall can be enlarged and the distal end of the engagement piece can be prevented from crossing over the regulation wall and moving toward the shaft side.

Abstract: A diffractive optical element includes first and second optical members which are stacked. The first optical member includes a diffraction grating in which a plurality of raised portions each having a vertical surface and a surface inclined to the vertical surface are arranged. The second optical member includes a diffraction grating in which a plurality of recessed portions are arranged, to which the raised portions are fitted. The diffraction grating of the first optical member and the diffraction grating of the second optical member are in close contact with each other. A ridge portion of the raised portion defines a curved surface. A curvature radius R (μm) of the curved surface, a pitch P (mm) of the raised portions, and a refractive index difference Δnd between the first and second optical members satisfy a predetermined relationship.
