    Abstract: A multi-functional printing (MFP) includes a scan privacy tool to allow edits and changes to a document image to remove or hide private information within a document. The scan privacy tool is enabled for jobs on the MFP device and launches when a print job is run. The document is sent from a device or retrieved from memory storage. The document image displayed on a display and edit interface of the scan privacy tool. Changes are made to the document image using tools available through the scan privacy tool. The changes are applied to the document image. The modified image is saved and transmitted to an engine in the MFP device to complete the print job.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a micro-scanning device that comprises a surface on which specimen to be scanned is positioned, and at least one micro lens configured to enable scanning of the specimen so as to obtain micro-details of the specimen. One or more micro lenses are installed below the flatbed surface in an array of movable configuration or in a stationary configuration. The device further incorporates a front panel to live-view micro-detail image of a specimen placed on the flatbed surface and incorporates means to focus, size, and zoom/scale the micro-detail image of the specimen. The device can be either a portable/handheld device or a stationary device and incorporates scan firmware to save and store or send copy of image incorporating micro-details on an associated/coupled computing device and/or in the internal memory of the scanner for performing any of stitching, printing, saving or sharing.

    Abstract: A method of generating transformed print jobs includes inputting a page description language print job and receiving a selection of one or more transformation features and one or more transformation feature settings for each selected transformation feature. For each transformation feature selected, all dependent transformation features are identified. For each dependent transformation feature identified, all dependent feature settings are identified. All combinations of transformation features, transformation feature settings, dependent transformation features, and dependent feature settings are determined. For each combination, the inputted print job is transformed according to the transformation features, transformation feature settings, dependent transformation features, and dependent feature settings of the combination and a transformed print job is outputted.
