摘要： A packet communication system is disclosed that includes an end communication device, a call processing system, and a packet network. To setup up a call from an end user, the end communication device transmits a call request message to the call processing system. The call request message has a header that includes priority information for the call. The call processing system processes the priority information in the header of the call request message to determine if the call request message is for a high priority call. If the call request message is not for a high priority call and the call processing system is in a state of congestion, then the call processing system transmits a response message indicating the state of congestion. Responsive to receiving the response message, the end communication device performs call blocking and provides call treatment to the end user.

Means are provided for storing and returning needle jogging instructions intended to be accomplished not only while the needle is out of the work to provide zig zag stitches, but also intended to be accomplished while the needle is in the work to provide for lateral needle feed of the work. An arrangement is disclosed whereby combinations of zig zag, needle feed and longitudinal feed of the work may be influenced between successive needle penetrations. In this manner, in addition to the longitudinal work feed motion, the work material may be moved laterally by the sewing needle in the formation of ornamental patterns having unlimited width as well as longitudinal extent for which the stitch coordinate information is stored and applied to the stitch forming instrumentalities electronically.

摘要： Disclosed embodiments concern a process for controlling plant pests, such as insects, nematodes, fungi, weeds, and combinations thereof, with specific embodiments being particularly useful for weed suppression. One disclosed embodiment comprises providing a plant, or a portion thereof, selected from the family Brassicaceae, particularly from the genera Brassica and Sinapis, and even more particularly from the genus Sinapis. Plant material is applied to soil prior to crop planting, simultaneously with crop planting, or subsequent to emergence of desired plants. The method may further comprise processing plant material. For example, with reference to Sinapis alba processing can include crushing the plants to obtain seed meal, which can be applied as obtained, or can be in other useful forms, such as pellets. Alternatively, effective glucosinolates may be extracted from plant material, either with or without first pressing the plant material. Extracted glucosinolates are applied to soil, followed by applying myrosinase, or alternatively the glucosinolate and myrosinase can be co-applied, to soil. Plant material or processed plant material may be combined with at least one additional material to form a composition, such as natural pesticides, natural fertilizers, synthetic fertilizers, synthetic herbicides, synthetic pesticide, surfactants, binders, colorants, pH adjusters/stabilizer, capsaicin, onion tissue, one or more microorganism, one or more products provided by a microorganism, or combinations thereof. The method also can include controlling the amount of water and/or pH added to soil, and or pH, to which the plant material, processed plant material, composition comprising plant material, or composition comprising processed plant material, is applied. The water and/or pH is selected to maintain bioactivity.

The method may include other optimization steps in a combinatorial fashion such as using an integer programming formulation that determines discrete values of pitch ratios to get a pitch sequence, using genetic algorithm (GA) programming; or any other combinatorial optimization technique.

摘要： A method of playing a gambling game involving two or more players. In a first step, the players agree on a unit of betting. Once the unit has been set, each player antes one betting unit. A standard five-card poker hand is dealt for each player, and one pea is distributed per hand. At this point, the players are permitted to see their hands and peas. If the number on the player's pea corresponds to one or more cards in the player's hand (ace+1 ball, deuce=2 ball, etc.). If not, the player returns the pea to the shaker. If the pea corresponds to one or more cards in the player's hand, the pea is retained. The order of play is determined in any suitable manner. Shooting begins when the first player “breaks the rack”. If a ball is not made, the shooter changes. If the shooter has scratched, he adds one unit of betting to the pot in addition to giving up his turn. If a ball is made, the shooter checks to determine if he has made, i.e., the ball whose number corresponds to the pea and one or more of his cards. The shooter reveals the pea and corresponding cards, and the players ante into the pot corresponding to the number of cards plus the pea. Next, each player determines whether or not the made ball has completed his hand. If so, that player is declared the winner, and takes the pot. If not, the shooter continues until a winner is declared.
