    Abstract: This application discloses image encoding and decoding methods and apparatuses. The image encoding method includes performing, by a source device, compression encoding on an image to obtain base layer information. The method further includes obtaining enhancement layer information based on the base layer information and the image. The method further includes obtaining control layer information. The method further includes performing encoding and modulation on the control layer information, the base layer information, and the enhancement layer information separately to obtain a plurality of symbol sets. The method further includes mapping the plurality of symbol sets to a resource for sending. Embodiments of this application may ensure robustness in a transmission process and improve overall compression efficiency and performance.

    Abstract: The method includes: receiving, by a second transmit end, policy information sent by a first transmit end, where the second transmit end belongs to a second BSS, the first transmit end is a transmit end that is in a first basis service set and that transmits data by using a first link, and the policy information is used to indicate a condition that the second transmit end needs to satisfy to transmit data by using a second link, or used to indicate whether the second transmit end is allowed to transmit data by using a second link; and determining, by the second transmit end based on the policy information, whether to transmit data by using the second link. According to the wireless communication method, a spatial reuse transmission policy can be adjusted dynamically based on an actual situation of a current network. This improves a system throughput.

    Abstract: Methods and devices are disclosed for transmitting data, including segmenting a group of information bits into a set of information blocks that each include a respective plurality of the information bits; encoding, using low density parity check (LDPC) encoding, each of the information blocks to generate corresponding codewords; transmitting the codewords to a destination station; receiving a feedback message indicating that at least one of the codewords has not been successfully decoded by the destination station; interleaving the information bits of the information block that corresponds to the at least one of the codewords; encoding, using low density parity check (LDPC) encoding, the interleaved information bits to generate an interleaved codeword; and transmitting the interleaved codeword to the destination station.

    Abstract: An HE-LTF transmission method is provided, including: determining, based on a total number NSTS of space-time streams, a number NHELTF of OFDM symbols included in an HE-LTF field; determining a HE-LTF sequence in frequency domain according to a transmission bandwidth and a mode of the HE-LTF field, where the HE-LTF sequence in frequency domain includes but is not limited to a mode of the HE-LTF field sequence that is in a 1× mode and that is mentioned in implementations; and sending a time-domain signal according to the number NHELTF of OFDM symbols and the determined HE-LTF sequence in frequency domain. In the foregoing solution, a PAPR value is relatively low.

    Abstract: A method for managing an optical network unit (ONU), an apparatus, and a system are disclosed. A message for obtaining a management mode supported by an ONU is sent, where the management mode supported by the ONU includes one or more of an OMCI mode, an OAM management mode, a NETCONF management mode, a TR069 management mode, and a SNMP management mode; a management mode sent by the ONU is received; a management mode to be used for the ONU is selected based on the management mode supported by the ONU, and is sent to the ONU. In this way, a plurality of existing management mechanisms of the ONU are compatible with each other, management of the ONU is simplified, and efficiency of managing the ONU is improved.
